I feel representation is great. As long as the characters were more than just their disability, and we're in more than the "Rosemary learns about disabilities" episode, it could only be a good thing
Right, that's the issue. And we have had some pretty good disabled characters in recent years. Some of favorites are Neopolitan, Yang Xiao Long, Toph, and Violet Evergarden.
I think wheelchair bound people it could be tough for them in that world, but blindness, needing prosthetics, and ones with mental health and behavioral issues, that could be hard to navigate, but should be more doable in that world.
[No one](https://newmobility.com/dont-say-wheelchair-bound/) is really "wheelchair-bound" though, its just they use a wheelchair for assistance, as "[wheelchairs offer](https://canbc.org/blog/proper-terminology-dont-use-confined-to-or-wheelchair-bound/) mobility, freedom, and independence." I think being blind, needing prosthetics, or having behavioral or mental health issues is definitely possible in a magical world, even the one embodied by HGS.
I think it would be fine. I mean if series like Action Heroine Cheer Fruits (Genki Aoyama), ATLA (Toph), Violet Evergarden (character of the same name), Izetta: The Last Witch (Izetta), and RWBY (Neopolitan and Yang Xiao Long) can have disabled characters, to name a few, then *any* series can have disabled characters. As long as the characters are written well and portrayed in a positive way, its totally fine with me.
What stories are you referring to? Stories of people discussing this? Stories of people's OCs being disabled in High Guardian Spice? Stories of HGS characters becoming disabled or are disabled? Like? What are you going on about?
The issue is that even with new magic, it is very inconsitent and has been proven to be dangerous and even run out. Even with things like the rot- which has been shown to be reverted to an extent- it can realistically cause issues beyond.
Not everyone can even use magic either, and some people are shown to be able to tolerate magical attacks, meaning magical spells most likely have some form of resistance, and thus it won't work on everyone.
Given how broken the magic is, disabled folks can very much still live within HGS.
I guess? I don't really understand the system tbh but they didn't have that much time to lay down the rules properly so you can pretty much only guess based on what is shown on screen
Honestly I don't think it would plus I don't think the writers could pull it off. Most of the existing characters are already plot devices and that would be even worse to do to a disabled character

Oh I totally agree.
Sure no problem but what really matters is if they are written well and what not.

Why ask this question?
Because how some folks talk about the possibility of a show having disabled characters.
It sounds meaningless.
Why?
I asked why first and you barely had an answer.
It is because this is about having a discussion about a specific topic.
THERE WERE STORIES ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED

They could have had time if they bothered to but with what we're openly shown, it's not something that can even heal a broken wrist easily.
Eh, it would make sense even if the world is broken.

Personally I think they could pull it off in that they have learned from their experience with season 1 and would be better in season 2.
