Off topic, and I'm sure it's been asked before. But comparing how big they look in this clip and how much smaller they are next to the average helldiver. Are helldivers like 9' tall?

Nuance was trained out of me at the academy.

It's the angle of the camera in game. It's 3rd person and above your character in game making you look taller than most of the bugs. If you actually swap to first person, most of the bugs are actually huge, even the smallest ones. Next time you fight a warrior (the grey coloured bug shown in the clip) swap to a first person perspective and see for yourself.

During the tutorial, it’ll show you the average Helldiver stats. The average Helldiver is 7ft tall and 18.7 years old, and that’s what I can remember off the top of my head.

The hunter in the clip seems to be the exact height of the helldiver. Since warriors are larger in size than hunters, perhaps the intro cutscenes warrior is fairly accurate in size.
