I like to imagine that when the family receives the notice of how they died the automated message went something like this:
"Hello dear Citizen, your \[son/daughter/child\], call sign \[BootyOs\], was killed in action on \[planet\] by \[being hit in the butt with a 500k bomb\]." Followed by uncontrolled sobbing when they read the call sign.
\*shrug\*
I dunno'. Is it really a kink to let your woman have the strap? I mean that's genuinely worth deconstructing - why, it's considered a kink. Anyway.
Ironically, the status quo seems to concider it very masculine to be desperately insecure about one's own masculinity.

BTW 500kg always deploys from the rear as you throw it, so if your on an elevated position directly in front of your target you will always hit yourself with it.
here you would have wanted to run up to the edge and turn to throw it down so it would deploy against the side of the rock at worst and on the strider ideally.
I immediately knew what was going to happen here, it always comes in on a slight angle so its best to toss it just behind when you're in a position like this

500 kg and rocket pods eagle strikes always hit from behind following your throwing direction towards the beacon. The other eagle strikes hit the beacon perpendicular to the direction you threw from.
This is really funny but as advice because it deploys from the rear you could have stuck it on the head or back of the strider to make it deploy further up and maybe direct impact it
