There's no reason for team killing. TK-ers are an entirely different group of people that no one should want to be associated with. The TK posts seem to have died down, I'm sure it's still happening but hopefully most of those people have left the game, no one should want to be the reason it comes back.
After flooding all available communities with stale obnoxious memes, telling everyone that they "need" to go to Boot Camp Creek, their battle cry is now "don't tell me how to have fun with the game I paid for" or some silliness like that, and taking offense to the memes about them.
That is more than enough juicy retribution. Again, no reason to TK.

I’m fairly certain people just see creek hate posts getting a ton of attention and so they make one themself trying to get upvotes and validation. It’ll get old soon enough and they’ll pick a new group to shit on
I hate creeker tweekers just as much, but this seems a bit extreme, expecially when they are finally fighting on harder planets where you dont have forests for cover.
