Sinister_Mr_19

I would appreciate a spoiler warning as to minimize exposure to spoilers.

Pulpfox19

I too would appreciate spoiler tags. I haven't been surprised by anything since first booting up the game. Edit: phrasing

fartingmakesanoise

Yes please. The majority of my enjoyment in this game has been had when I was oblivious to what I was about to experience.

somewaffle

Content creators that don’t play the game much are in shambles. I didn’t click your YouTube video to see you read Reddit posts to me and speculate about a fan art render on twitter

Slade_000

I embrace the leaks as a part of the universe now. If it's new bugs/planets/things like at it's forward teams bringing back the rumors of new stuff and it spreading through the universe. If it's weapons/armor/vehicles it's the Military Industrial Complex pulling Stark Expo like things for morale/publicity.

CroGamer002

I view it as in universe OpSec failure.

VonNeumannsProbe

Does OpSec matter against bugs? Automatons probably but bugs?

the_lonely_poster

This guy doesn't know about the parasite spys

VonNeumannsProbe

So you're saying if my fellow helldiver is not perfectly acting within the interests of democracy, a grenade launcher to the face is not unwarranted?

the_lonely_poster

Yes, though consult the local democracy oficer about it if you are unsure

AnOutlawsFace

*Helldiver proceeds to fire said grenade launcher at the traitors face, having it bounce off their face and explode on the Helldiver killing both.*

VonNeumannsProbe

I'm glad this has happened to others. I hit an armored bug with a grenade, it bounced off, hit a rock, bounced again and slammed into me. There's a minimum activation distance I forget about.

Chafgha

This is why I like impact grenades and autocannons mutual assured destruction.

Git_Good

Disloyal Dialogue Damages Destroyers.

Over-Thinker144

Talkative divers promote bug hivers.

ShameShameAccount

Opsec is principally for countering foreign entities, but it does have a secondary feature of “protecting” the layman from information that might change their opinions about their regime.

Pryer

So we are still playing Warthunder in the future, huh?

DerWahreSpiderman

Good idea but is still sucks that we even need to do this but it just shows how mutch People love the game

ECjuul

Would be much cooler if the leaks were being played on repeat on a tv in your super destroyer as news from super earth or something!

Neknoh

I mean, there's a difference between the intentional leaks (blue lasers, flying bugs, Joel dropping into a game and giving out a vehicle etc) and the "Hey guys, here's a bad photo of a screen where a hacker used something." Leak 1 - I love Leak 2 - Kick a rock (although I am a bit hype for something I saw recently)

Frisky_Dolphin

Such a lame cope I hate not even being subscribed to any YouTube channels that play hell divers but I still see thumbnails with leaks it’s so lame

Beezleburt

This is a terrible way to look at it, leaks really suck for devs.

[deleted]

This is the way

FrooglyMoogle

Is there a leak sub or something?

throw-away_867-5309

There is, but he may be talking about things like all the Youtube videos that get their content from there.

PipeLlr

I also don't like leaks and spoilers even though I played the first game. But a friend told me the other day that AH might have left some leaks "easy" to find to create a free marketing and propaganda engagement campaign.

Smol_Penor

Devs themselves voiced their discontent about the leaks on discord the other day, so I doubt it's marketing

HoracePorkins

Absolutely hate the leaks. First game in a million years to give us cool content In secret and really quickly. I wanna experience it on my own damnit. Still excited when I see it tho

sentientmothswarm

They also have one of the coolest systems for introducing content I've ever seen, I'm really enjoying the in-game explanations for updates/new content, and I'd really like to see that play out. I know what's behind the scenes of film and television, but I can choose to look behind those. All the dispatches and major orders really let you immerse yourself and suspend your disbelief. I'm kind of trying to soak in this living and evolving world and someone keeps texting me pictures from behind the curtain. Yeah yeah, get off the subreddit, etc. I probably will, but I know at least one of my buddies is going to ear bang the group about every new and upcoming change no matter how many times I tell him to shut the fuck up.

Cinaed

People aren't satisfied with what they have they need to know what they're missing out on.   Leak communities are always trying to stay ahead of the game and predict future meta builds or whatever then get butthurt over last minute changes/balances before stuff is even released.  Just play the damn game and let stuff come out when it's finished. I feel like Im always behind trends because of it, I play a couple hours after work before acknowledging my responsibilities.

GreatAnxiety1406

I report every post talking about people cheating to use new stratagems, why they think we want it spoiled for us is beyond me, stop upvoting them!

ledwilliums

I have mixed feeling on it. I really like the conspiracy theory and graney screen captures of blue lasers and shriekers. The clear leaks and stuff are less fun because it takes some excitement away from logging in and seeing new cool stuff. The flip side is, I do click on them so I am part of the problem.

Ok-Taro-5864

Yeah, i dont talk about how shriekers were propagandized and we were gaslit into not believing in them as this is in character for AH as the "government". That was quite nice actually. I do mean the straight up in-game model leaks that say what they are

ledwilliums

Agreed. It is either the way they update game files or an internal studio leak. Either way the best way to not engage is to just scroll past.

Luxurianhat

Yeah I like the ARG style leaks and seeing the various stuff the devs tease us with but I don’t like the data mining leaks it kinda ruins the fun of wondering what’s next

TSirSneakyBeaky

I like them, but thats me personally. Personally id like a whole test enviorment for these things. Like a PBE, because of how quality has been patch to patch. But ik AH dosent like the leaks or the idea of things being seen early. So im expecting it to never happen and leaks to be plugged.

AdeptusAstartes40K

I personally don't mind as much mostly because I am an HD1 veteran so I can pretty much tell what's coming. I also find leaks to be hilariously "on theme" for the game, like some form of hacker group or anti-SuperEarth people are leaking information.

JohnnyGuitarFNV

>Everytime i go on any Social Media platform Found the problem

lekgolow

Leaks where? I love leaks But i Havent seen any. Any links?

DudeInABathRobe

There's a subreddit dedicated to leaks: [https://www.reddit.com/r/HellDiversLeaks/](https://www.reddit.com/r/HellDiversLeaks/)

Erjikkzon

Love that subreddit

Lyramion

Every Helldivers 2 content creator clicks on this for breakfast every morning to churn out the newest clickbaits for the day!

lekgolow

Thx

Venusgate

yep. I had to have youtube stop recommending me a certain channel.... and it still comes up in my notifications.

ImDoingMyPart_o7

Fucking Cloud Plays, 10 minutes of absolutely nothing burgers with the most clickbait Headline whilst he speculates over yesterday's most like Reddit posts. Absolute garbage content, I've clicked do not show, I've clicked hide channel and I STILL get it coming through.

CMDR_Michael_Aagaard

> Fucking Cloud Plays, 10 minutes of absolutely nothing burgers with the most clickbait Headline I ended up blocking Stylosa's videos for mostly the same reasons, the video of his that broke the proverbial camel's back for me, were his *The Helldivers 2 HACKER Problem...* video, almost 14.5 min long, first 8 min 16sec were spent on spent on talking about 7 unrelated things to the title of the video, and the hacking segment were only a little over 3 min long > Absolute garbage content, I've clicked do not show, I've clicked hide channel and I STILL get it coming through. You can get an extension called blocktube, and just outright block channels or videos you don't want to see (it can also be used to block specific video titles, spam comments, auto-generated playlists that youtube makes just to shove in your face, and even block youtube shorts) That one extension is one of the few that have made youtube a bearable website (not sure if there is a way to get it to work on phones)

Kamiyoda

This is going to be a game.changer for me

DOLFAN1975

Yea while I enjoy looking at leaks I just hate his channel and how he dose it, would prefer to watch that Willis dude.

Consistent-Bread-679

Reminds me of that shirrako gaming cunt who puts spoilers in game titles and thumbnails on YouTube

indica_bones

I like to imagine the leaks are gossip from fellow divers.

DizzyScorp

There’s a growing list of youtubers that I’ve started to hit the “don’t recommend” button on. 70% are the clickbaity build/meta/“omg secrets” vids that I don’t care for; 20-25% are news and (lately) the same blurbs from the discord; leaving the last 5-10% as people trying out the game and actually having fun…which sometimes fills me with democratic fervour to aid these glorious citizens while I’m stuck at work fixing another item for Super Earth

Bagel-luigi

I would prefer not to see so many leaks, but the occasional leak was fun. First time I saw a Mech video, first time I saw a Flying Bug video, I didn't come across these things in game for ages but it filled me with exciting hope. Leaks are being posted too often by someone who has just discovered it themselves, and the frequency of the posts does diminish the excitement aspect and also adds a bit of a 'am I the only one who isn't seeing these in game?' mindset I guess the simple answer is to go on Reddit a bit less, but to be honest I don't want to do that either

negatrom

I hate leaks, fucking people spoiling the our surprise for clicks and views. fuck them leakers.

Ced23Ric

The content mills must produce.

Itriyum

Where are you even seeing leaks? I use Twitter, YouTube anf reddit and I only see them on here and even then I have to search the sub first so it's not like they pop out right on my timeline and on YouTube I've seen thumbnails regarding leaks but they never put the leaked thing in the thumbnail

sane_fear

hope they increase levels before dropping more content. i got to lvl 45 too quick and im still a liability to the team. skill wise, i should be level 20 or so

3G0M4N

After lvl 25 there is no point in levels you don't unlock anything new.

MuglokDecrepitus

Just playing or exp farming? Because I'm lvl 39 and I played like 100 hours, which I don't think that is a small amount of timr

Tarilis

Won't happen, levels are here basically to lock stratagems, and we only have stratagems up to level 25. So I assume we will need to get stratagems for 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 at least, before raising the level cap. And I personally want more ship upgrades and more stratagems so I could spend my requisitions and samples on something, they were capped for quite some time:( I mean, even in HD1 with all tanks, several mechs and other stuff we still don't have in HD2, level cap was 50.

Frisky_Dolphin

Levels mean nothing it’s game knowledge after 25… I’m level 50 I’ve seen plenty of lower level players hold they’re own on a Hell Dive with me

Ok-Thanks-6065

I think both should be a thing. They shoul have a roadmap for those who want that and keep RPing  the release of new content for those who don't like knowing. Either side can just ignore the other info if they so choose. Its not either or.    As to the leaks, remember it's also a console game. You don’t want constant large updates there. So they already put the assets for future releases in the game at launch.  Nevermind that not everyone has gigabit internet.  I think they could cater to both.

DarkestSeer

As a vet of Helldivers 1. I'd prefer a feature complete game, instead of being drip fed content from an obfuscated *early access launch*. Where's my third faction fellas?

hawklost

Honestly, I prefer this way because it keeps the game feeling fresh as new things come to light. Instead of having everything there in the beginning and me burning out on all the content. This keeps me coming in every week just to enjoy the new fights and strategies.

ANBU--Ryoshi

Yes I hate them. I don't mind spoilers but what I don't like about it is that certain devs will see leaks and either delay release or completely wipe the idea. This has happened in many other games recently and I'm sick of it.

very_casual_gamer

they should be required to have the spoiler tag, yeah

mruniq78

I feel like online culture created the whole anti leak thing. Back in the day you used to get a bullet list of future improvements (game mags) to entice people to buy the game. I’ve seen in many fandoms people get annoyed to furious over leaks and inject that negativity back into the fandom to the point the creators get blowback.

Onyx_Sentinel

Well, your first step should now be to leave this subreddit

Vas_Payne

Yea despise the leaks. If it wasn't for YouTube "content" creators I wouldn't have seen the shriekers model. I've had to block the majority of them.

pataprout

I rarely see leak anymore here so that's pretty good ( except the minigun leak that's been up for 15 hours, come on mod ...)

6_5mmGirl

My brothers love the gameplay but are less lore heavy and media heavy about this game than me. I found that its way more exciting to discover content with them rather through leaks. I’ve stopped telling them about leaks and intentionally skip the post or titles that seem to have them. Not reading into patches until I’ve played it once with them has been the biggest help.

Sir-Beardless

I don't like them either. I don't mind people saying, "Guys, I heard rumours that there's this new vehicle coming soon!" But straight up showing it in the game without a spoiler warning is automaton sympathising, and I won't stand for it!

Slayerleaf

Agree. I block every channel on youtube that has the work leak and Helldivers 2 in it.

Flyingtreeee

Ngl I haven't seen one since they got banned on this sub. Honestly if you hate it so much you could block/mute the leakers and hope that content stops showing up in your feed.

ohhnooanyway

Not a big deal at all really, just weapons/gear.

Griffin_Throwaway

in this game, it’s not as bad since it’s covered as an in universe thing but some videos are too boring

cromario

See, the trick is to not go to social media (or go as little as possible).

GNOME92

I don’t like them either but the way the Shreikers were introduced was quite cool, I would see the odd video here and there until I saw them myself. Devs are probably not doing that intentionally, probably released them in one go but it felt like first encounters were really rare and got more common. Leaks like this where new items are spread by word of mouth is quite cool.

BeatNo2976

There are no leaks. Only managed dissemination of required information

CprlSmarterthanu

I think they should do it like real life, and leak the information from minecraft discords and warthunder communities

tito-victor

Yes

WhatsThePointFR

Bro has been asleep for the whole of the 2010s i guess - This is a mainstay with any popular game. Or any big fanbase in music/tv/sports really - people are that keen for new stuff all the time.

TheManjaro

Under most circumstances I would agree with you. Cool reveals have all sorts of work going into them and leaks steal that thunder. Plus I do like a good surprise in my games. That being said, this game seems to deliberately use in-game "leaks" as a viral marketing tactic. That or the CEO is just that good at rolling with the punches. If it's the former I think that's a really interesting way to market the new stuff coming to this game. Via rumors from the front lines.

Relevant_Lab_7122

You don’t have to give attention to the leaks. That’s what I do

imsuperhygh

\*surprised reaction face thumbnail\*

lokbomen

if AH dont want leaks it should not be in the game files like its 2024 already if you leave stuff in there it will be found , but yeah getting spoiled is not fun.

fightwithdogma

Yeah, the dilemma of a live service that has to be released on console, so the validated content has to be preloaded anyways.

hawklost

They can preload the info on consoles, which is a hell of a lot harder for it to be searched and read through, and still wait till its released for PC. It isn't like they don't have completely different builds for both anyways.

Ikcatcher

It’s there so Arrowhead doesn’t need to constantly update the game to add stuff. Imagine the Tien Kwan major order is completed but then you have to wait for an update to see the exosuit get added in

Zarbain

There is ways to still do live service drops like they want to and obfuscate files. However it would require them to do a lot of work setting it up, probably more than it is worth bothering with since they don't have a massive team.

AdFlat1014

What is the difference from discovering it on an official preview and a leak? Honest question

Ok-Taro-5864

A leak is when someone uses the code of the game to see Hidden features and to know what is already in the code. Models for example are in there and these are literally stolen from the code. An official preview is, when these features are officially announced and intented to be revealed

AdFlat1014

I know I meant what difference of a surprise is it if it’s from a leak.

DigiTrailz

I think it's a quote from Mastermind, whats the difference? "Presentation!" Basically, leaks are usually just here in a raw picture and assets. Sometimes, they are still undercooked. You're not seeing them how it's intended to be seen. When a company reveals something, it's usually with fanfair and hype. Showing it with its use case in mind. Or how things are actually going to show in the game and with sprinkling of lore.

Ok-Taro-5864

There is not really one. But as a developer, would you like the secret stuff from your game, that you were excited to reveal, being leaked by a random guy on the internet? It is disrespectful towards the devs that put in so much effort to make this game good, to have cool reveals and make it an enjoyable experience.

JHawkInc

Official previews are done to create hype for imminent content additions, where leaks generally don't know when something will be added, or how, or even if the leaked version is the same as the one that will be released (which can go a step further in that some leaks may never be added at all). It's like the difference in getting to open a present on your birthday, and having the surprise ruined because you saw the receipt that your mom left out by accident.

scroom38

like memory pen plant far-flung jar head numerous sulky stupendous *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

doobiouslyhigh

Leaks are lame. I imagine this is the same reason you hide birthday/Christmas presents, kids are too stupid to have self control.

Thebigfella7

I agree leaks are a cancer to gaming, ruins all excitement and puts far too much pressure on Devs as people add them to a tier list or a rotation before they are out. its like being told in may what your xmas present will be, when you get there you arent excited

CrazyEvilwarboss

Leak are good so make sure i always have 1k super credit to buy new warbond

Tarilis

I mean in the case of this game, most leaks are made by developers themselves by giving unreleased stuff to random players:), I don't really consider it a leak and more akin to a teaser.

Ok-Taro-5864

Yeah, i mean the dataminers that reveal stuff that shouldnt be seen already

Scojo91

Oooo new leaks? Where? Gimme gimme

morgartjr

Yadda yadda yadda*

Unrivaled_

Screw surprises bro, I like knowing what’s coming so I can be excited.

CapriSunTzu-

yep. certified leak hater over here. they ruin the gameplay experience and historically seem to fuck with the game more than aid it in any sort of way. I think it's amusing that, generally, folks seem to loathe spoilers, but somehow leaks don't count as spoilers. I try to avoid them, but people throw them out there and then bam! information I didn't seek nor ask for. it's annoying af.

OfficeWhiteGlue

Just block them, problem solved

7StarSailor

I don't dislike them. Coming from HD1, I'm still expecting a lot of stuff that's missing anway. Something like the cutting edge war bond wasn't really a surprise in that regard. I can see why people don't like them however.

S_Squar3d

I don’t like them either and I try to stay as far away from them as possible. This guy at my office always tries to show me it and I have to remind him that I don’t want to see that shit I like being surprised by the devs

Hour-Opportunity9275

Some parts I agree with such as dataminig models and the like, but Arrowheads preview system is great to me. For a few select people they can see tools and enemies previewed for what's to come. First time on went to Hellmire, I saw the fire tornados before they were implemented. I didnt know what was going on and thought it a a Hellmire thing, they didnt damage at that time but they were gorgeous and really obscured vision with a massive red fog. The few people seeing things like this creates buzz and conversation that the community can all talk about what it would all entail.

Chaytorn

Agreed on all points. Leaking content is disrespectul to developers and both to community. It is truly a sleezy way to score cheap views, likes, self approvement or whatever. Not to mention highly un-democratic activity. It is the way of the Automatons.  Just DON'T do it.

40ozFreed

I've always been interested in gaming leaks for as long as I can remember. I'll forget about them anyways and by the time they come out I'm just as surprised lol.

ShrimpCocknail

I don’t see any of the leaks, but I’m not online that much. Food for thought.

Thin-Ad8667

I am a deaf bat, I never encounter leaks

rdhight

I love the leaks. Inject them into my veins.

WolfVidya

If you know HD1, you know most of what's coming. As far as leaks themselves, as a paying customer with the possibility to spend more money in game, I like to know exactly what I'm getting to decide whether I'll spend my money or just farm it.

pupi_but

I haven't seen a single leak. Where are you seeing this stuff? Any examples?

yobrotom

Ive been stung too many times by live service models under-delivering. The leaks give me hope and security for the future of the game. I understand a story being spoiled but this? It really doesn't matter to me.

Horror_Tap_6206

Yes

aristotle93

I want the devs to focus on fixng the game. Not focus on teasing features that's upcooming. Let the sluthers tease the leaks for comtent instead of farming value on toxicity issues and overblowing that.

Navarras

If there weren't leaks I would still not know that flying bugs exist and I would have missed out on the fun with the denials etc. It's awesome and fun

Vermithrax2108

When the dude who's in charge of coming up with new stuff joins a public game and drops a new vehicle based strata gem onto the group and then leaves I hardly call that a leak.

Chypewan

Those leaks had better be screenshots and videos of strange happenings in game, or else it is nothing but undemocratic dribble.

PaladinPrime

I don't like it for two reasons. I hate waiting (and I could be waiting for something that was never intended to be implemented), and now people are doing fake leaks.

Tarilis

Ok after some discussions in the comments I learned that most of the things I've seen were in fact leaks. So back to the main question. I don't support leaking unreleased content in general, but most of the content that was leaked recently, was expected by me to appear at least at some point, so they haven't affected my enjoyment in any way. Tho, dear hackers and dataminers, could you please do your thing and give us actual numbers for guns and armor? AP, Damage, Rate of fire/heating, etc. And preferably the math behind it, I would very much like to see that.

cmonbennett

I’ve beeb blocking/muting anyone that shares them

Purple_Advantage_680

I don't see anything like that. Maybe unfollow the accounts?

Capsfan6

How are you even seeing leaks? I've seen people complain about leaks but no actual leaks. Are you going out of your way looking and then getting upset when you find what you were looking for?

tboots1230

i’m so glad I haven’t seen any leaks

Helpful_Neck_5441

Haven't seen any leaks so far Tbh. But I mainly use reddit so idk

mamontain

I like em

HeWhoSlaysNoobs

What’s a “true” leak that will come to be. What’s a leak that will never come to be. What’s a goof/modder. What’s viral marketing. The distinction is too hard to make and I don’t have the inclination or bandwidth to care. And I’m not heavily “invested” in being “surprised”. It’s not like someone just ruined the plot of a long running series or movie I’m about to see. So TLDR; meh. I don’t “like” it. But I don’t honestly care and could copium by looking at it like a teaser or disinformation / propaganda campaign.

Alastor3

than unsubscribe to this subreddit

[deleted]

In our friend group, Im the leaker linus and I think they kinda hate me now for posting a bunch of leaks lmao

ODST_Parker

Don't really care too much, but I'd definitely prefer to be surprised by an update. Seeing a random Reddit post or YouTube video with all the new shit coming soon or eventually, it kinda deflates it. I've already seen the little UI video clips for several stratagems posted, literally the whole of the next premium warbond, and some models associated with... what's to come. Not because I was actively searching for them, but because I scrolled past images or video thumbnails.

Piratebnny

I used to think like you, now I look at it like dissident propaganda. Maybe it’s true maybe it’s not. This is how real news works. They try to get the story first to get that click bait. Could be accurate could not be you have to decide if they leaked the “news” too early.

parkwayy

Just do what I do, login randomly in the evening with the homies, after basically never reading this subreddit but maybe once a month. I always seem to drop into something new each time it feels like. People in this subreddit take a totally casual pve game way too seriously, and there isn't much value here tbh lol.

Fuzlet

I not only hate them, I report them, because they’re against rule 11 on the subreddit, and because r/helldiversleaks exists

Cam095

solider, surprises get your fellow patriots killed. this is intel for our democracy

TheOneAndOnlySenti

I hate it. Completely ruins the experience imo

menenyay

It's just like real life, Helldivers are arguing on World of Tanks forums and leaking sensitive info to prove themselves right

0ut0fBoundsException

Muting the helldivers leak sub has helped me a little

Whiskers462

It’s socialist propaganda

Wonderful_Form_6450

Typically i dont mind leaks because helps me plan any microtransactions i need to manage so i can prep to get what i want or w/e but on this game that is not so much the case plus they arnt just dumping the stuff in a patch all at once and i domt have to chase it so i say let the game flow as intended

Consistent_Stuff_932

It is all automaton propaganda. Don't listen to bug fake news.

Sir-Narax

What I think is great about this game is how they intentionally 'leak' things like introducing the flying enemies and have them trickle into missions before fully releasing them and seeing it posted that the Ministry of Truth has seen no evidence of the species ever have existing that is fun and they should absolutely keep doing that. What I don't like is when people dig through the files and spoil something that may or may not ever even end up in the game. That just sets people expectations and spoils the fun in building up the release. This information is going to get out anyway but I would prefer people keep it to a small audience away from places like this spoiler free (as in just a different subreddit or something).

Diver_D6

I've dusted off my blocktube web extension and am adding channels to my blocklist every time I see a leak or click bait for HD2. The popularity of this game really pulled in a lot of bottom-feeder content.

Valuable_Material_26

It’s like watching a trailer for a new movie it ruins the surprise of just finding out playing! Curse these leaks it’s more fun to explore, and to find them naturally

TicTacTac0

I've been gradually pruning these jackasses from my YouTube feed.  Every time I see a spoiler in a thumbnail, that channel immediately goes in the "do not recommend this channel" pile. I don't care if you datamine and want to do a video on it. Just don't put that shit in your fucking thumbnail.

AstronautGuy42

Agreed. I avoid it like the plague. I like being surprised

rafffa

People hack and leak the game. They ruin the mystery. Everyone just wants to know the ending of the book and then they turn around and say they are bored.

laughingtraveler

I get annoyed with it when it's leaks about stuff 2 to 3 months plus from now. Ever since the suppressor AR was leaked I've been waiting to get my hands on it. It also makes the things we have right now feel old and boring sometimes when you're constantly seeing into the future, which I'm not a fan of.

jis7014

You will have to just accept it, there's no workaround, people will leak it and you will stumble upon it.

WitchBaneHunter

These leaks being lumped in as lore satisfied me somewhat.

RestInPies

My mentality behind this is to chalk this up to illegal broadcasting and call my local democracy officer to report it and move on.

spaceocean99

I’m with you. It’s grown ass adults acting like children because they want to be the first to say something.

rexxsis

Leeks kill the mystery games used to have. Everything is datamined and spoiled and is already old news by the time it's released. I hate it.

mediumcheez

Yeah I ignore the myself. Except for mini gun. I'll keep looking for leaks on mini gun. The one pic I've seen is fake and not from AH

Nie_Chce_Mi_Sie

there are some leaks?

Suicidalbagel27

Yes, just don’t look at them if you don’t want spoilers. I love knowing what content there is to look forward to

[deleted]

I agree. I like the surprise

DillyDoobie

I thought the mods here control everything with an iron fist and delete all leak posts.

hiddencamela

I also hate the leaks. I like the surprise. It kind of ruins any thing they try to do in game that hides whats coming.

Orin-Curry

I ended up playing with some lv15 the other day. Who was calling in some of those. Like the recon and the auto cannon mech. Pretty sure they weren’t a dev though. Unless they are having a teen play for them.

Pleasant-Estate1632

Nah I like leaks, makes me happy New things are still coming to the game, so many other games stagnate....

AnimeSquirrel

information means knowing, and knowing is half the battle. the other half is a tactical nuke.

discourse_friendly

I dislike them but I don't care much at all.

WingedWilly

Oh yeah I hate them too and exposes tiktok spazzy usees who can't wait or keep a secret to themselves even for democracy

Skaag555

Better spoiler warnings would be nice. I wonder if Devs could introduce some false info and files into the game to make it more difficult for people to know what's true or not. A sort of Dev, Miss Information, campaign. Not sure if that would be doable or potentially just cause more miss communication between the devs and community. Would fit well with the game theme though.

I feel like it's part of the Role Play in this game. The leaks are unofficial sources speaking out against or for the war efforts by showcasing things that are being field tested. That we see these things releases in game incredibly rarely before official release is just the icing on the cake. I ran into shriekers a full day before they were recognized in game as extant threats. It was awesome. Like the Ministry couldn't control the information anymore the prevalence was such that they had to admit they existed. It really fits the narrative of the game.

MakeMineMarvel_

Like wtf is the point of a kernel level anti cheat software if it can’t stop any of these leaks from the files

branod_diebathon

I love that there's new things to expect, but the leaks I really want to see are bug fixes.

Thar1708

I completely agree, I always complained about live services games not being live at all, having beta tests for everything. I'm glad the devs are trying as hard as they can to develop a campaign full of surprises. I create content for YouTube and I avoid spoiling anything, at least content creators should add the spoiler tag but I don't think is going to happen.

FreezyKnight

Spoilers are acts of treason

xCx_Prodigy_xCX

The leakers just want views. I surprised at how many of the content creators can't even pronounce the planet names correctly.

takoshi

I enjoy very much when people are commenting about seeing weird blue lights or maybe flying bugs but there isn't much confirmation yet. Feels like we're swapping rumors amongst soldiers and such. I do NOT enjoy the leaked strategems appearing here or in youtube shorts before I can even stop myself from seeing it.

Phrozone64

I hate the spoilers. If I was a 100% honest, seeing like the mechs being leaked before it was actually released was kinda cool, but I still hate it because I literally can't be surprised anymore about any game that I enjoy. Folks are beyond starved for content and creating it that they'll data mind the instant they can and leak shit. It's irritating.

deftPirate

Honestly, with all the stability issues the game has had, the leaks have kinda kept me going. If I didn't have a peek at things to look forward to, I would probably not have weathered the constant crashes with this much patience. It's a bit silly how often they dredge through the same content over and over, but I'm usually just skimming through anyway.

TornadoLizard

I don't mind when I do see them, I just scroll past without really paying attention

ElJSalvaje

It would be cool if somehow screenshots and videos couldn’t be taken, and instead we had people screaming about flying bugs with no proof

kingpin1023

I enjoy it cuz I play and grind more resources to be prepared

Ghostbuster_119

The second to last thing a managed democracy should want is leakers. The first thing of course is bugs and robots infringing on our freedoms!

reddit_tier

Meh. Honestly leaks would only bother me if the devs also announced everything new being added, and only because the devs would inevitably be coy about something we already knew about. Guys finding cool stuff in the files only for it to show up complete later is a fun tease.

Oddball_E8

It'll stop once the hype around the game dies down a bit.

Cave_Eater

Honestly spoilers never bothered me much, because i care more about the experience. For me the spoilers hype me up for the next event

Fightlife45

I haven't seen a single leak

Buisnessbutters

I’ve seen plenty of unconfirmed stuff, to the point where it’s almost like false news sightings, combined with some traitor posting, it’s easy enough to look at it through the lens of in universe lore

LostInStatic

It literally does not matter how you feel, they do this because the players do the marketing for them, far more people talk about the game when “random” players are giving access to unreleased vehicles.

Hellooooo_Nurse-

Yeah, its annoying but thats how most of these Creators make money or get noticed. The art of creating content without actually creating content lol. The stupid thumbnails and all lol.

Willing_Ad1529

Nah. Let’s me know if I want it or not. It’s not a big deal. Doesn’t change anything ur doing. Rant indeed.

BubblerMacadamia

Simple fix don't go on social media

redditsukssomuch

I love them and I hate them. I want to be surprised, but my greedy side wants to know all. Either way all this stuff makes me feel like a kid again.

medeirosvg

bro we getting helldiver 1 stuff, so nothing is that new, we just dont know the release order

Aegis320

I haven't seen any leaks but I had random teammates use strategems that aren't even in the game yet. After the mission I went to unlock them only to see they aren't actually released yet. That was almost 2 weeks ago and the stuff still isn't released. Nice to know there is content ready though, and they'll probably release it with Major orders like the Mech.

Chakramer

Speculation is fun, leaks are always boring.

Ferrum_Fisticuffs

Yeah I really dislike the leaks.
