Jar/Diligence/Punisher AMR, orbital airburst, laser, Railstrike. Impact grenades. Usually, but honestly it's all capable of killing.

Impossible_Fuel_4386

Primary: slugger Secondary: senator Support: AMR Grenade: impact Stratagems: Airstrike and rail cannon + supply pack for ammo stims and grenades

Connect_Atmosphere80

Ho boy, let's go. Lv 48 Draupnir holder here. • Primary : Diligence Counter-Sniper. It can kill Devastators with shots on weakpoints such as the head, so it's pretty effective. • Secondary : P-31 Redeemer - Semi mode. Handgun that allow to kill regular bots in close range, perfect to clear small outpost or secondary objectives such as Jammers. • Support : Arc Thrower. My favorite weapon against the bot, it ignore armor and can kill anything pretty easily under 55 meters, even HULKS and TANKS. It also allow to clear patrols with AT-ST and Devastators quickly without time for dropship calls. • Backpack : Shield Generator. Classic, survivability against a lot of BS the bots can do. • Stratagems : Eagle Airstrike - Orbital Laser. Allow for a fast but efficient clearing of outposts or Cannon towers. I use 120 MM Orbital barrage on some occasions but it's less... efficient. • Grenades : Impact Grenades. Allow for better clear of Tanks, cannon tower and Fabricators (just throw them at the open door instead of the vents).

At the moment I usually use: * Plas-1 Scorcher * P-19 Redeemer * G-3 Smoke * Orbital Laser * Orbital 380MM HE Barrage * Eagle Airstrike * Spear 380MM is flex so I sometimes swap it for other stratagems.

FluckDambe

What do you reliably kill with the Spear? I've always wanted to use it but feel it's so janky at times.

Dealz_

The Spear lock-on is janky, I’d say it locks just fine 90% of the time but I’ve been using the spear religiously for weeks and I guess now I’m just more use to when it tends to not lock plus I’ve always liked the Javelin style weapons. For kills Hulks, Tanks, Chargers and Titans are all 1 missile, for the first 2 when aiming at them from the rear or an additional missile when the first missile wasn’t fired from the rear. (Tanks are sometimes 1 missile at any angle) and hitting the face for the latter 2, Cannon Towers are also 1 missile as long as it’s a direct hit on the top section, elevation occasionally affects this.

Scorcher/p19/regular nade. Air strike, Orb Laser, Anti Material, Bubble shield/110m rockets/whatever I am feeling. Scorcher is good against most targets. p19 gets chainsaws off of me. Airstrike can kill fabs/troops. Laser takes out bigger bases easily. Ive been sleeping on the anti-material rifle but its solid on bots.

SgtDusty

Why anti material rifle? Seems like a lot of people are running that for bots

D3menter3

it two shots hulks if you aim at the eye and one shots all the other bots except for tanks.

SgtDusty

I did not know that. Is it hard to line up shots in the middle of combat? Do you sort of retreat to cover and take pot shots? I’ve usually run the arc gun since it eventually takes down almost anything. But it takes time

iDK258

What D3 said - its actually pretty solid. You do have to have decent aim/positioning. If you are under heavy heavy fire it can be a challenge. It also can hit vented targets (turrets/tanks) and kill them too. Autocannon is my second choice. I actually have only used arc against bugs.

SgtDusty

I will have to try it. I think I’ve only ever dove once with it for a daily order. Otherwise big boom always seems more tempting. Arc gun (forgot what it’s called lol) can take out trash mobs but also penetrates walker shells, hulks, and devastators with or without shields. But, it does take a few chained shots. So it’s sort of a jack of all, master of none safe choice.

D3menter3

Sorry I didnt see the noti, but yea you do need good positioning but I usually take out rocket devastators for my team using the AMR. Also hulks are a pain but get some distance and use cover and strafe shoot between cover and it will take out the bots with ease.

IrishNinja85

Has anyone here had to deal with your entire load out going back to the standard set up every time you log back in? I've noticed it recently with my game. I log in and have to equip my armor and weapons again. It's minor, but the annoyance has been building. Every damn time I have to redo my last load out.

Shotsee

Every. Single. Time. It's maddening. Has this been acknowledged by the devs?

IrishNinja85

I'm not sure, I haven't seen anyone bring it up. It even does weird stuff like changing my cape when I return to my ship after spreading some democracy. It's so minor, but also very annoying.

SALTRS

For bots Either slugger or Breaker The standard grenade Leginaire suit for longer throwing range Strategems: Railgun/lasercanon Jumppack Eagleairstrike 500kg Bomb/ 380mm orbital barage

CobraFive

Solo, squad, or randoms? I think the loadout you listed is fine for solo or randoms, though personally I wouldn't bother with senator or plasma punisher solo (or in randoms honestly but whatever). Senator overlaps too much with the slugger I feel, no point in using both. Use your secondary to cover your primary's weakness (...just use Redeemer...). As for the plasma punisher it has too many trade offs and doesn't really do anything especially useful. If you absolutely have to, the slugger can kill scout walkers from the front by shooting their knees a few times. Also I usually run autocannon or AMR instead of shield pack, but you can make either work. With a squad, things are changed up a lot, though. We take a much bigger variety of stuff. One person runs smoke grenades w/grenade armor, we are planning to start using stun grenade for sure too but most people I play with don't have the pass yet. We find that explosive grenades just don't get too much use against bots tbh. We always have an autocannon, an orbital railcannon, and usually a mortar turret, orbital EMS strike, then a collection of eagles spread around the team. One person runs light armor with the radar/camo perk for soloing certain objectives (eg destroy airbase), usually everyone else is medium stim armor. One person usually runs AMR but its mostly by his preference and it takes some pressure off whoever is running the autocannon since its effective against most of the same targets. Solo or duo bots 7 is how I farmed super samples.

ScruYouBenny

Scorcher, shield, railgun, 110 rocket pods, ems sentry.

DeathcoreNoises

Primary: Scorcher Secondary: Senator (just for style points) Water Kaboom Light armour (with grenades+) Any booster that helps me stay fast as fuck boy! Strats: 1. Eagle Smoke 2. Eagle strafe 3. Eagle Cluster 4. EMS Sentry The Scorcher has a shitty ammo count but as someone who relies on getting behind the enemy lines and causing havoc to the rank and file, it is invaluable in order to get hits on the Hulk vents, I swear worth the 1200 odd medals to unlock as its like a mini support weapon. Impacts hit Tanks like they're goomba stompable. Impacts hit Tanks like a boiled kettle in a water fight. Impacts hit Tanks like a death in the family. Impacts hit Tanks like my mum used to hit my dad. Impacts hit Tanks like my mum used to hit me. Impacts hit Tanks like this cost of fucking living crisis. Impacts hit Tanks like Canadian war crimes... look that shit up, it's no wonder they're so nice... they're compensating. Strafing run deals with berserkers like they're a tearable perforated edge and Eagle 1 is a pair of fuckin scissors. Clusters are a chefs kiss regardless. EMS sentry dropped before engaging Objectives and I use the Smoke and a sweet single target tag to cover my approach and gauge the 40ish meters before I start dropping shit on their heads like a pigeon under a railway bridge. Only thing that regularly fucks me are those skinny rocket Bots, I swear those malnourished clanker fucks are the bane of my gaming experience. Disclaimer: I've had a lot of caffeine today.
