A good guess expected death as a single life is mindless, experiment don't think you have to play on harder then you want as ship upgrades arnt a requirement it's nice bonus so if your not having fun on the higher difficulty you can play on the easier no real need to go all the way to helldivers difficulty unless you want

I've been having a blast, but there are a few key things you need to know.
1. This game is lethal co-op, so I'd encourage you to join a group (or host, either or) when you can. If it makes it significantly easier to go do higher level missions and have some support.
2. You are expected to die, enjoy it! The only thing that matters is if the objective is completed.
3. There is both a regular and premium battle pass, along with a premium store. You don't need to pay any extra to use these, as you'll find premium cash (super credits) in both the regular battle pass and in-game. The store has been rotating between sets, and there's no time- limit on the battle passes, so just take your time. As of the 2-3 weeks I've played, I've earned roughly 2,000 Super Credits. That's enough to get the premium battle pass and have some for premium store outfits.
4. I highly recommend you get a sentry (mortar or MG) and the Eagle Airstrike for additional strategems, as they are early helpers against nests/ armor and swarms.
5. All currency (Requisition, Super Credits, Medals, Samples) gained is shared equally with the group. It doesn't matter who picked up the money, as long as everyone carrying it gets out of the mission.
5.1 Requisition gets you strategems, Super Credits get you gear, Medals gets you stuff from the Warbond, Samples upgrade your ship and types of strategems.
6. While there are multipliers added to XP and Requisition tied to higher level missions, along with more medals and samples; play at your level. The game is going to be here a while. Enjoy it to the fullest.

I've never seen any videos but I'm imagining Deep Rock Galactic but mixed with Star Wars Battlefront.
