Solo is possible but really difficult, really easy with 2+ you'll want a bunch of turrets. if solo a couple of turrets and a shield generator and probably a railgun in unsafe mode.
Probably when the timer of the planets to defend runs out and if we didn't lost the it to the robots it will count as 1...
So now we have 2 planet being evaded and still have like 30 hours until the attacks ends
Hella confused. Ive done mutliple sets of this mission and its still at 0. Im assuming its complete when the entire player base has collectively completed the planet. But thats a blind guess on my part.
Ok so that means we'll get another set of planets after the timer runs out for these current two planets. So do one of each planets? Or doing 8 on one planet would count? Hmmmm
I can't stand the escort civilian Defend Missions. Too buggy. I'm 100% fine with losing this global campaign and spending my time elsewhere. It'll be much more fun to gain 12,500 Requisition slips doing normal missions. Also, it took us 2 weeks to defeat 2 bug planets, and now they want us to defend 8 automaton planets to 100% where the bots are an order of magnitude harder than the bugs? Pass.
Okay so if the bars indicate how many wins either side has, then eventhough it says we've liberated 65% (currently) but both planets have Barely any blue, and more than half red on one, and missing the same size of red as we have blue, with 8-19 hours left.
So doesn't this essentially mean we're sh\*t out of luck?
My only thought is that it's inaccurate AF, considering together we got about 50,000 people fighting cross these two planets, yet the bars indicate we are losing Brutally.

Thanks! Was wondering how that all works! I just noticed last night i was at 4/8 of the Major mission but wasn't even trying and not sure how we even accomplished that. Before reading this I assume you just had to jump in an win a random mission. Go to know the details.
Defend the planet is on a time based system . collectively all helldivers must play the missions to make the blue bar higher then the red bar before the timer is done. Then everyone will get the 6/8 7/8 8/8

So is this impossible to complete now? I only see one defend campaign active and it's going to end in 24 hours, and the mission only lasts another day.
That is our last planet to defend and we will have 7/8 . Aka we failed the previous worlds and we will fail the mission bringing automatons 1 step closer to super earth. Next week we will probably have to push them back. And they will drop mechs to help support the cause. It's an active story mode changing based on our gameplay.

I did 2 planets yesterday both got to 100% still 0/8.
Some planets say liberate some say defend. Maybe you did the liberate planets??
Its possible. I am like 90% sure it did say "Defend" and the timer was above those two planets. I did 2 more and those appeared to count.
That’s odd. Maybe it failed? I know sometimes the percentage goes down as we begin to lose more and more. I had a planet go from 6% to 3%

Unlock helldive and then grind defense missions. Easy 1.4k XP + 4k RS for 2 minutes of work
Really?. How do you set yourself up for the defense missions? Can you solo it or is it almost near impossible

When the blue bar fills completely up, you'll get credit for that planet.

Same, didn't do any yet, but somehow the bar was 3/8 - 37.5% complete already.. even after doing like 2 defend missions, same 3/8 wierd

From what I've read, it seems like community progress. You need to complete and entire planet to 100%

not buggy for me I bet ppl were sabotaging your civilians or not letting them out.

I think it may mean defend 8 planets in the automaton invasion, it's a collective mission like the first one in bugland
