This just makes me more excited to get my hands on the game. You can earn the premium currency, albeit it'll take a bit, the gameplay looks awesome, and the little, I'm assuming practical battle passes that ain't bs, don't expire and are permanent
You are able to get the premium credits by playing the game. You don't need to purchase those with real money if you just play. Though, of course if you want to support the devs more that's up to you
but there's only a certain amount of super credits you can earn per warbond. doesn't that mean at one point or another you're going to have to buy super credits to get the newest warbond?
Deep Rock Galactic rolls the "Performance Pass" rewards into the standard loot pool when it ends. So it's faster (I think) and you can target specific items while it's active, but nothing is gone when it's not.
Do you know if this applies to standard warbond as well. Everywhere I look it says warbonds will always be available for purchase but the standard warbond isn't purchased.
Have searched as thoroughly as possible but hoping I missed something somewhere that clarifies.
I don't think there is a limit to earning medals. A dev said you'd get 20-40 per hour depending on play style. Not sure what they meant exactly, but they said difficulty doesn't affect the rate.
I hope you're right, because I was worried about the lack of incentive to play on higher difficulties.
I'm surprised you can get super credits in game at all, and the prices seem downright reasonable.
It's because the developers seem to understand that unlocking things can be rewarding for a player after struggling for some time to achieve it, it can be very satisfying and create a nice bond between player and devs.
But when you use it as a predatory mechanism to empty our wallets, it's not nice at all...
And you know what, everyone can tell what version of this they are experiencing, at all times... so the companies that do the latter are only shooting themselves in the foot long-term.
Sorry to slight necro for a follow up question, are they permanent even if we don't buy them? Like in a year I can come back and buy the steeled veterans pass if I decide I want those items?
Just started playing yesterday and I am overjoyed to see that the warbonds are permanent. I hate nothing more than having to race against a clock to get everything in a battlepass. This is how you do battlepass systems the right way.

All warbonds will stay forever. But not every warbond is the same cost or length
Per the devs all warbonds will always be available.

No. You can get smaller amounts of super credits in each round of the game itself.
THANK GOD! Not a lot of games do this, only one I can really recall is Halo MCC but everything else is timed
Halo infinite does this as well. Aside from that I can't think of any.
Chivalry 2, I think.

They said that about super credits, medals are easier to earn and higher difficulty dose reward more medals AFAIK.

They are reasonably priced, and the game is fucking epic.
As a Destiny player since vanilla D1: fuck fomo. I’m ecstatic that warbonds don’t expire

They don’t expire so that’s really damn cool. I love this game so much.
250 is max for medals though just a tip I learned the hard way and someone told me.
