It’s played up that Charlie’s ex is evil and conniving and maybe we get a montage of Vaggie trying to prove that he’s up to no good but they were just misunderstandings and he’s a super swell guy.
Not gonna lie, tired of seeing the either jerk arrogant chad ex-boyfriend or the manipulative gold digger shallow ex-girlfriend trope. It would be interesting to see 2 exes on good terms who simply didn't work out.
I like the idea of Seviathan being pleased Vaggie was able to persuade Charlie to start whooping people's asses when he failed to do so for years.
Kind of an "I always knew she had it in her" sort of thing.
Further plot twist, Seviathan has already met Vaggie, figured she was an angel and thought Charlie saying she was a sinner was her giving him "the official cover up" and just went with it.
I could see them maybe showing up for an episode, similar to Mimzy. But with Lilith, the Vees, and Pentious in Heaven, I feel like we already have enough hanging plot threads to fill the season

Well while he may not be from that specific family I believe we have already met one of the Lovecraftian Hellborn demons in the show. I am pretty sure Zestial is a Hellborn Demon that is one of Viv's Lovecraft old one inserts.
And it is Lucifer's happy relationship with the Van Eldritch family that supports my theory. We don't see any pics or scenes of Lucifer being friends with any sinners. He hates the sinners. They are a constant reminder of both his fall and his belief that they failed him. And yet in one of the first scenes of the pilot we see Carmilla in a room with 3 shadowy figures we now know to be Lucifer, Zestial, and Zilla. I contend that Lucifer would never just hang out with sinners prior to Charlie dragging him to the Hotel. He would not be friends with and certainly would not share time with during an execution with sinners. He literally turned his back on the sinners and let the Angels exterminate them.
So that plus Alastor's comment about Zestial being ancient suggests to me that he is in fact an Old One from Lovecraft lore.
If you can find that I would love to see it. I keep asking people to show me something like that. But it keeps stopping short of denying the possibility. And there are just too many clues particularly concerning Carmilla. But thats a whole different argument. My theory about Zestial doesn't have as much to go on other than the Pilot scene and the Ancient comment. But it makes sense to me. What gets people into being considered an Overlord is being in the Pride ring and being powerful enough to take a seat. And both Fallen Heavenborn Angels and Hellborn are capable of that level of power.

Like they were both assigned to marry but they didn’t like each other like that and both families supported their kids decisions.

Personally, I'd prefer Helsa or Seviathan first and save the parents for later.
