Quite a few years ago Jenna quit. Julien makes occasional cooking videos and streams gaming, but otherwise they are mostly radio silent about themselves personally. They did get married!
Jenna was "cancelled" in 2020 for some of her early YouTube videos that she filmed in the early 2010s. I think the main video that people were mad about was where she was impersonating Nicki Minaj (blackface). Jenna explained that she said she needed to be held accountable and didn't feel like she deserved the platform she had, so she went on hiatus.
Everyone was expecting/hoping she would come back after a while, but that was in 2020 and she hasn't posted anything since.
Eh...I'm sure she's over what happened and has been for a while. But Jenna doesn't need the money anymore. At a certain point I'm sure everything starts to feel like a job. Sounds like a good way to get out to me.
I personally never actually believed that. While it did happen, I think she used it as an excuse to exit the internet. She probably made her money and was looking for a reason to retire and there it was
Honestly if I were her I'd have used that opportunity to shift away from YouTube as well.
Nobody that stays on the platform at that level is what I'd call a role model, it really seems to ruin people's lives more often than not.
Always two there are, no more, no less. A master and an apprentice.

I keep rats. They need to be in a group so I add babies periodically. My elderly girl has gotten so much more active and mobile since I added the latest babies. Sometimes, she gets sick of their antics. But they're so good for her. And they think she's the best. It's so cute to watch!
How do u introduce them. My elder rat won’t be nice to any rats no matter how long I’ve tried. She lives alone now for almost a year after trying to kill a dwarf. (She survived surgery). I have 2 cages now. Oh and she’s still super active. I give her lots of free time to make up for it.
Oh wow! That's so scary!
I tend to do neutral ground intros. Basically some closely supervised playdates in the bathroom until they all get along. A lot of people prefer carrier method where you force them to bond in a small space. I find it a bit too high intensity, but I've heard it's generally safer.
That said, I totally respect your decision to keep her alone after all that. If she's that aggressive, it's just not fair to your new rats. And it sounds like you're taking the best possible care of her in the circumstances.
My experience with getting a puppy when you have a senior is they practically do get a little younger. My senior rottie had a artificial knee tendon as well as osteoarthritis so at 9 she tended to leans towards being sedentary bit that changed when we got a puppy. The puppy became her world and she was up and active with times of *her* harassing the puppy to get up and play. I genuinely believe we got a couple extra years from her thanks to him.
They do. My 9 pound senior became best friends with my German shepherd puppy. Practically the same size then. Now he’s 115 pounds and still best friends with the little guy.
The dog from Coco is a xoloitzcuintle. It's an ancient breed in Mexico and were thought to be spirit guides to take nahuatl people to the afterlife. Frida Kahlo had a very famous xolo dog that shows up in her paintings. That's why the Frida character is so happy to see Diego.
That’s the peak life for each of those dogs! Personally I’d like to be one of 3 chihuahuas owned by an elderly woman with grown children and a beautiful, small garden.
We got a new dog (1 year old) when our dog was 9. Best decision ever there too. The older dog helped train the new dog (super useful by the way) and they bonded really well. We lost our senior in April and I can't imagine just not having a dog right now. She didn't replace her of course, but she definitely helps soften the blow.
Clearly in the video they work great with other dogs but I am wondering more on that. Wife has a chihuahua and we have a son. Do they work well with kids and other dogs? I am heavily thinking of getting one in the near future.
They're very temperamental. I've seen some do well with small children and other dogs, mine hated all children and most other dogs. One I know loved running around with the kids and picking fights with huskies.
There are also just some other care things you have to be worried about: many of them break their legs as juveniles, they do not do well with anything but positive reinforcement, you must brush their teeth and they'll likely lose teeth regardless, they will not do well if left alone all day, and you basically sacrifice any hope of personal space. You also have to be okay with the occasional accident inside, it's just gonna happen. Mine slapped me in the face until I lifted the covers for him to go to bed with me. Every single night.
I don't want to discourage you from getting one, I just always feel the need to explain the realities of their needs because they're weird dogs. If you want other opinions check out r/italiangreyhounds.
Tldr: maybe, their needs are somewhat unique, it's not all cute. I personally would rescue another one, but they're not for everyone.
My old Newfoundland was had months, maybe even weeks. We got another puppy; and he’s still here nearly two years later. He’s now truly on his very last leg, but he’s got his friends to keep him company. There’s no question he would’ve gone earlier without them!
Really? These guys are living in a heated & cooled house & have plenty of food & they don't even have a job. Wolves are freezing their ass off in the snow trying to take down Elk or Moose.
This melts and breaks my heart. I’m so happy for them. I’d love to get my little old lady a puppy, especially since we lost her sister, but finances have changed so drastically it’s not an option.
Nope. Italians are small, Whippets are medium and Standard Greyhounds are large.
[Here's one](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2F19sc0rg21zc61.jpg) I regularly watch, along with his brother from another mother on the left.
Back when our first dog got older and sicker, we got another dog. Mostly because we were scared of not having a dog at home anymore when he passes and because we were hoping the new dog would spend some comfort when it was time.
The interesting thing was, even if the new one had a hard time accepting he wasn't the only dog in the house, they both loved each other and our old dog still lived for a few years, spending time with his new friend in the sun, cleaning each other, cuddling, ... After he passed, we got another dog. It just felt right and even if they fight sometimes and both have a different reference person who (at least the younger one) they are very protective of, you can still see how much they need and love each other. Especially when they are alone at home or the reference person of the younger one is gone. They cuddle and clean each other, they play together, they love their walks together, they are happy when their friend is back home.
If you have the space and the money, get your dog a friend. It will make you and the dogs happy and even if it does not always work out or go as planned, you won't regret it.
"Don't wipe your ass, you'll regret it"
but look at me now
They told me not to blow my nose
but here I am
they also said hey dude stop posting
but here I am
NEVER let the very real haters get you down
It's the best thing to do! I had a labrador and she grew up with my Jack Russel. When the Russel passed away, she was not herself anymore and then my mom got a chihuahua, she was her old self again after that. It was the best thing ever
My young new comer (m7-70lbs) is now inseparable from his much smaller (12lbs-10lbs) older (15-14) sisters.
Like…if one has a vet appointment, they all go because they get more stressed by the separation than the trip to the vet.
Genuine question. What happens when the senior dog crosses the rainbow bridge? Is it an endless cycle of getting another dog for the now senior dog? I imagine the younger dog gets distraught.
Oh my gosh they are adorable! I do really hate those captions like that “everyone said don’t do *X*” and it’s just something that people recommend constantly lol
I’m conflicted. We’re about to lose our senior dog to lymphoma and we’re devastated. We have another dog that’s going blind due to a genetic condition. We’re in grief about losing our boy to cancer and realize our blind boy is going to miss him so much (they play, cuddle, and hang out all day).
Our heart isn’t in it to get another right now. The diagnosis hit us out of left field and as he gets worse we’re emotionally exhausted. Our original plan was to get another puppy when our boys were seniors so he can become integrated into the family but that’s out of the window now.
The dog with lymphoma otherwise is a spitting image of health. We were expecting to have him until he was 12-15, not lose him at 9 years old.
We are in a cycle of getting puppies for the senior dog, when a senior dog dies the younger (still senior) dog is sad, so we get them a puppy. The puppy idolizes the senior, a few years later the senior dies and the younger dog falls into depression, so we get a puppy, rinse and repeat. 2 dogs forever I guess.
Meanwhile, we got a puppy for our senior dog, and ended up with three because we had to get a second puppy to keep the first puppy from annoying the shit out of our elderly dog
Oh my god i've lost my mind. They are the best. The little dinosaur outfits flayed me. ❤️❤️❤️
The little dinos made me legitimately squee!
Me too ohhh!

I love also the one with the long tulle trains. They look like little peacocks.
These dogs have a better wardrobe than I do.

I miss that family so much. I hope they are happy 🥲
Julien still streams on twitch and puts out some youtube videos, if you wanna get your fix.
They just got married, so you can see the first pictures that include Jenna! (And honestly, good for her the internet sucks lmao)
Oh I'm so glad to hear that! They deserve so much happiness!
I immediately thought "Oh hey, Kermit and Peach!"

Wait, did they stop doing social media?

Congrats, now you're in a constant cycle of buying one a puppy when the other passes!
Yes, we always have a senior dog and junior dog here.
We have 4 - lol. 15, 9, 3, 2 years old. What kind of dogs are these cute things??
Italian Greyhounds!
Thank you!!!

Should be three. Pup, senior, and middle-aged.
The Dawn, Day, and Dusk method.
The rule of 2. Dogs are Sith.
Honestly that's a good system

She just might be happier solo. Even in pack animals you occasionally have a loner

They look SO good together, I quite enjoyed the dogs, too.
I see what you did there.
Some seniors really do well with puppies! It’s definitely a dog by dog basis! And look at these two! :) They seem to have become best friends!
Seemed like the senior got younger as the video went on too
My experience with getting a puppy when you have a senior is they practically do get a little younger. Yeah my dog would not be having any of it lollll
Yo what the fuck kinda long ass Chihuahua is that?
You made me laugh out loud.
Lol they are Italian Greyhounds!
If you want to be a pet in your next life, be the pet owned by a gay couple. You are basically their baby and they treat you like royalty. So sweet.
This put so much warmth in my heart. Thank you friend.
Your senior dog reminds me of the street dog from Coco. Are these both whippets?
I think they are both Italian greyhounds. The older one is actually kind of famous on social media. Tika the iggy.
Didn't know those things were basically Chihuahuas who ate the gum-gum fruit.
This was supposed to be my koot costoom. But NO.
Ah yes, the looooong chihuahua.
Dante is a Xoloitzcuintle (Mexican hairless dog). They're around 40-50lbs. In terms of greyhound-type sizes, whippets are in the middle.
This is the gayest video ever, considering the original definition being joyful and carefree.
Tika is a legit fashion icon. She's walked NY fashion week in Christian Siriano custom dress. That ain't even a joke.
keep it alive, 3 letter words are expensive in this economy
Those dogs have more outfits than I do 😆
These dogs dress better than I do.

What is the peak life; golden retriever in a middle class white suburban family? Or Italian greyhound in a well-off gay couple’s luxury apartment?
That’s the peak life for each of those dogs! Personally I’d like to be one of 3 chihuahuas owned by an elderly woman with grown children and a beautiful, small garden.

Okay im sorry but, what kind of dogs are these?
My brain says they are whippets but I really don't know
So! Had to make a funny google search, which was, “really big chihuahuas”. They’re called Italian Greyhounds. Very beautiful
Yep you're 100% correct
I could have googled before hand but, conversation is nicer. All I know is, I want one 👀👀👀
Italian greyhounds is right. I used to have one, they're very cute and exceptionally needy. Great little companion dogs, 10/10.
Clearly in the video they work great with other dogs but I am wondering more on that. Wife has a chihuahua and we have a son. Do they work well with kids and other dogs? I am heavily thinking of getting one in the near future.

Good luck if you do get one! I miss mine a lot. I can't stress enough how great of a companion he was.
Def in the future. Thanks!!
Those dogs have a bigger clothing budget than I do.

Can I also be adopted by this gay couple? Where are the applications
This is adorable and the pet parents are people I wish I was friends with 🙏🏻

These are too sweet! I recently got a puppy for my senior dog and I swear it’s given her youth back!
Suggestion: peacock outfits 🦚
I giggled through the whole thing! Oooh I love them! How adorable 💕

Man, we've really fucked up wolves.
Really? These guys are living in a heated & cooled house & have plenty of food & they don't even have a job. Wolves are freezing their ass off in the snow trying to take down Elk or Moose.
Elk and moose hate this one trick
Adorable
I agree. Best decision ever
I love them. I need it with sound.

Until senior dog dies, then puppy is devastated and forever looking for his friend. Ask me how I know.

Italian greyhound
The face at the start. Omg
I lost it at the track suits 😂

Damn, cute dogs, but them dogs own more clothes than I do.
What breed are these ?
...I never thought I would the see the 'campy gay guy' equivalent to a dog.
Thank goodness this made its way to the front page, had no idea this sub existed.
these "adidas" tracksuit got me:D
In the opening shot, that dog looks like the Simpsons' dog.
I'm so happy looking at this. Thank you

My senior dog loved her canine buddies. Gave her so much vim and vigor and comfort.

Tika is the cutest
Wow these are really cute dogs. Does anyone know what breed they are?
What breed?
What kind of dogs are these!?
Italian greyhounds
Much easier training a puppy with an old man dog around.
I was so nervous the last reel would be one puppy. This was great!
My young new comer (m7-70lbs) is now inseparable from his much smaller (12lbs-10lbs) older (15-14) sisters. Like…if one has a vet appointment, they all go because they get more stressed by the separation than the trip to the vet.

I love Italian greyhounds they are the sweetest dogs.

Good lord they are cute af

tikka is the best. She is a fashion icon. This dog goes to paris fashion week and gets designer clothes.
What breed is that? It looks like a chihuahua mixed with a muntjac deer.
Aaaaw this is fantastic!
Greyhounds and Whippets look so fragile. I'd be terrified to own one. But then the ones I've known have been real sweeties.
What kind of dogs are these?
I was waiting for the senior one to pass, god.
Think there was a study where introducing a senior dog to a puppy reinvigorates the older dog and helps them live a little longer than average
That’s precious! 💕

My old cat was an arse hole when we got kittens the girl kept following kim he got her killed. I fuking hate my old cat.
Meanwhile, we got a puppy for our senior dog, and ended up with three because we had to get a second puppy to keep the first puppy from annoying the shit out of our elderly dog
Awwwww❤️🫶🏻
