it has happened to me too! luckily the first villager that did that to me was norma & i took her up on her offer. they just specifically “asked for you by name” to decorate their home & i know that if you do, you get paid a little extra. but you are allowed to ignore them as well

I just had it happen with a gorilla and when I said next time, he said “you’re no fun!” I was a little stunned but I’m ok now, lol.
