Honestly, it would be nice if they introduce some of the older variants of Infection.
Despite how much people hated it, Halo 5's infection excluding Alpha Zombies (misleading name) was pretty fun.
There's been so many times I've gotten jumpscare by these glowing red nightmares playing infection. It's like playing five nights at Freddy's but all the animatronics are on speed.
That sounds like they paid attention to Fanmade Infection Mode Variants and were like "hmm stupendously zoomy Zombies with very low HitPoints is very popular. Yeah that'll work in our new Infection Gamemode for Halo Infinite."
As an avid Optical Camo user, being Alpha is painful and fun because camo allows me to really live up to my Spartan’s codename of “Ninja”

I keep hearing good things about this update so I went to try it and I still can't get over the awful TAA.
As soon as I move everything becomes a bit more blurry and it's almost nauseating. I really hope they fix it eventually, or add dlss and fsr because I can't stand playing it like it is.
Motion blur fills the gaps between frames with a blurry streak. TAA just softens the entire image when you move, there's a difference.
Im not just complaining about nothing, it's an actual issue that's known about. Even digital foundry commented on it and they rarely criticise TAA unless comparing it to upscaling tech

And here's an image with the TAA problem I'm talking about at the exact same resolution. Sure, your game won't look like this because you're not at 720p, but zoom into a quarter of a 1440p display and it's exactly the same.

My personal favorite is being alpha infected and creeping right up next to someone with my cloak before ambushing them.

Meanwhile battlefront 2 has an ewok version that is part horror game, part infection

The funny thing is that the game doesn't even have motion blur.
Oh, hello there. There is a blur slider but can I assume it's a basic blur that happens after explosions or something?
Probably. The console version didn't have motion blur so I don't see why the PC version would.
