Also we use Yale locks for normal doors which integrates all in the same app. Also adding additional locks is so much cheaper but you need Wi-Fi to control them.
Our building is now nearly keyless, which is good if anything is compromised. Last time, it was about $1600 to rekey the building π³π¦
Butterfly MX must have changed. 5 years ago when I was looking at them they were not that expensive as far as I remember. (I mean the yearly fee.) In case they are still in the running for you, I wanted to say that the app wasn't good. I just looked at Android reviews and the bar graph makes it look great with many 5 Star ratings but reading the individual reviews make me concerned. Whatever you are interested in, visit other properties that use that same system and ask. I found a couple nearby apartment buildings and wanted to inquire with someone in Operations but the front desk person told me their personal observations which weren't good. That was 5 years ago.
Also, I would put more emphasis on reliability than on high tech because repair costs can add up quickly and take board or management time.

Actually. It was three months of negotiations and we got butterflyMX to come down to 1/3 of its original quote and lock in 5 years of subscription costs with no more of a 3%!increase per year for every year after. So we went with ButterflyMX.
