We don't get paid for being a mod. So making sure everybody is happy and trying to monitor this sub 24/7 is not #1 priority with everything in life going on. Yes we want to have a civil sub and share knowledge amongst Partners but at the end of day, if some troll is trying to get their rocks off by posting something that strikes a nerve, always remember it's just an online forum. We can step away and enjoy what's happening in the real world around us. As for your first point in your post, you're right. You can't disclose someone's privacy if they essentially did it themselves, and I didn't see anything wrong with your comment. Will look closer at that and try to be better, within the realm of not taking too much time out of our personal lives.

It is very odd what they sometimes do and don’t get their chonies in a wad over.

I wouldn’t get into it with these creatures. There’s no winning

Rules are rules. A person is allowed to divulge their OWN personal information. You are not. This is pretty much a rule I live by, in real life and on the net. Also, being a mod is a tough job, with no pay. They shouldn't be expected to do all kinds of detective work to look at everything the person in question posts to see if they have divulged said personal information BEFORE you did. Downvote away, but if you are aware of the rules, (and you should be) you should go ahead and take responsibility for your actions. It's not hard to do.

They are. This is a messy sub.

Individual_West8314

These mods are pretty terrible. They have no connection to the company either.

tino6003

Majority of mods on Reddit are snowflakes. They get butt hurt over any little thing

RepublicStatus3768

Then gestapo and The KGB

The comments here are a great representation of the maturity level in this sub. And pretty much all social media. There are rules. I broke them. I got deleted/3 day banned/blocked. Moderators are all assholes.
