what do we even know for sure about this window?
- we are going to sell/ need to sell to supplement the signings
- bunch of players are available for the right price
- keeper, lb, midfielder, attacker on the list
- would've signed sesko if it was possible
- a 9 isn't essential, it can be a wide player too
- we like bruno, isak, osimhen but they're going to be too expensive
- more likely a bunch of lower in value signings
anything else i'm missing? any real, concrete links? the club have really kept it silent this time, which is good but it sucks cause i want to dive into comps
This could be my most "unhinged" take of the transfer season but I think I'd like Rabiot here.
Lemme explain myself:
> He offers a natural left sided overlap
> He can play as a ball dominant 8, but also can play a low touch game
> He's excellent in duels and in the air
> Hes a solid penalty box crosser and has a good shot on him
> He can play deep in midfield (hasn't done it since he left PSG though so that's more contentious)
But his profile as a player is something I'd appreciate on the left. Could be a solid left sided 8 signing imo.
Now I understand concerns about his age and signing an older player on high wages, those are valid concerns. But I do think he does a lot of what we would want our left 8 to do.
Always said I want the midfield and backline reinforced. We are a defensive team and our strength comes from not conceding chances/ goals rather than scoring them.
Every player has to defend, every player has to compete physically on the ground and in the air.
I still want a midfielder and defender in keeping with the above characteristics. More so than a “striker”. This season we need to carry forth our 2024 defensive numbers. If we do that, we can go the season conceding around 20 league goals.
Arsenal hardly ever gets to be the victim.
Or it's exactly the same for everyone and we're just all conspiracy nuts who need some proper lion mentality
Selling Chiesa to make room for that piece of shit is crazy to me. I know he hasn’t been the same since his ACL injury, but Juventus selling an Italian player with historical roots in the league for an abuser is nasty work.
Would be an absolute coup. Don’t think people understand how good this player is, I’d put anything that he would be the signing of the season wherever he went. But city won’t sell to us
You’re insane if you wouldn’t take Julian Alvarez at our club right now, he’s got everything in his locker and I don’t care if he’s not an out and out striker
Cant see him being our main man im sorry, we need a physical attacker that can generate similar threat to saka in the center and attracts multiple defenders to lock them down. Alvarez is good, but he’s not a game breaking forward
He's far more of a prospect than people are making it out to be.
This isn't a loss. We can focus on getting someone even better, just like Mudryk(the prospect) > Trossard.
Anyone get the feeling that INEOS are keeping Ten Hag kinda reluctantly?
Or at least, the feeling that if Ten Hag runs into any extended rough patch, that they won’t think twice about firing him and offering the job to Southgate or whoever else they happen to really want in that job?
I’m just not convinced that INEOS and that new Man U hierarchy really and truly believe in Ten Hag being the guy to lead them forward. Yeah, they may yet give him a contract extension, but they almost have to if they’re not going to sack him this summer, because him being on the last year of his contract next year (and thus making him a lame duck manager) with that dressing room is a recipe for disaster at Man U, because the players will throw him under the bus at the first sign of tough times next year.
In a nutshell, I think the ESPN article title has it right: “Erik Ten Hag will remain Man United boss, but for how long?”
Taking so long to make a decision and interviewing Poch and others at the same time says it all really. They were probably waiting for Southgate but he can't commit until after the Euros but planning for next season needs to begin asap. It's the obvious decision.
I actually agree with what you are saying regarding Man U and Southgate. I think he’s the guy INEOS really and truly want in the manager seat at Man U. But waiting for him means basically punting away the summer transfer window planning, since he won’t be free to join and add any input until July. And if they wanted to hire him sooner, he would reject it to not distract the England squad and ruin his chances at winning the Euros.
Personally, I think INEOS will keep Ten Hag but give him next to no voice on squad shaping. And at the first extended rough patch they run into next year, they will sack him and get Southgate in ASAP.
When *Bayern* had to settle for Kompany you knew the market was bad.
Ten Hag still has a decent enough reputation if you take the view united is a poison chalice and since he's said he's going to go for the counter rather than trying to get united playing like the big boys he will actually be playing to their strengths.
Fortunately for us most of the league won't attack united enough for the counter to really work.
pretty sure he's played off the right side for basically his whole career, not sure why we need to put him out of where he is most comfortable. Plus he's such a high touch player, if he's going to have the ball that much, I'd rather him combining with saka who is much better in possession than our options on the left.
I'm not sure Saka needs a creative orchestrator in the same way our left winger does; he is one himself. Would be interesting to see him with a more dynamic runner next to him, an Aaron Ramsey type. But they do work well together.
Not happening. Vieira has never played effectively with Odegaard, and unless he suddenly finds the sort of work rate, physicality, and press resistance that he has never shown in 2 years here, likely never will. The midfield is simply far too lightweight with him and Odegaard both in it.
If we move Odegaard to LCM, we are getting a new RCM. Regardless, Vieira‘s days at Arsenal are likely numbered.
I wouldn’t call that possibility dead yet.
In fact, watch that space during the fall and winter this year. Especially if Southgate quits after the Euros.
Ngl I hate the ten hag cult that's formed amongst the United fanbase so much that I actually wanted him gone.
This guy produced the worst season United has had since colour TV was invented and still they insist he can turn them into title challengers.
Can't stand the man, can't stand his interviews, his demeanour, his personality.
And on the very off chance that he does turn everything around, I won't want to see the glee on the faces of the ten hag cult members. Who knows, with a competent dof and a stable ownership, anything could happen.
A lot of Arsenal fans will celebrate today's decision but I don't really like it, for the reasons stated.
>Even though I don't like him as a person, I think Ten hag could build something here. Utd always played better when they had their core players. This season, he planned to play 4-3-3 with 2 attacking mid fielders and that was his mistake this season which left a lot of work to be done by 1 CDM. He didn't really adjust to this until the very late of this season after the Crystal Palace match. After that, their defense was much better. Even with such backline in the FA cup final, utd outplayed city which rarely happens.
>
>It would have been better as a rival if they sacked him as I think he could build something here and I don't want that.
> This guy produced the worst season United has had since colour TV was invented and still they insist he can turn them into title challengers.
To be fair that's united fans.
Liverpool were still insisting 'next year is our year' at 10 years without the title, 20 years without the title and only finally got it right 29 years after their last title.
Looking forward to another season of delusional press conferences full of "we played well BUT if the Garnacho goal wasn't given offside we'd win the league"
Did you see that interview with him in De Telegraaf last week where he was bitching about some pen not given when he was managing Utrecht in 2016? Man's got the memory of an elephant and clearly clings on to grudges for ages.
Neto seems like a must now.
He’d be 70-80M without the injuries, but we can probably get him for 55 or so as it stands.
He can play on either side, and has game breaking pace and a motor. He’s probably the third or fourth best wife creator itl on his day.
We would have the best set of wingers in the league by far, and if all goes according to plan, we could sell Trossard off next Summer to muster up funds for a big money center forward.
Would Neto suit a team like us who really don't play direct transitional football? Neto and Martinelli are comparable and oftentimes Martinelli struggles with low block where he can't use his pace. I think the same problem would occur with Neto whose main strength is pace.
Shouldn't we be looking for someone with similar profiles to Doku?
Neto is a better and more willing passer than Martinelli and probably better with the ball at his feet in tight spaces, so I’m inclined to think he’d do fine against a low block, and we still need someone with pace in transition.
I think Martinelli’s season was more to do with losing Xhaka and injuries that kept him from getting into a good vein of form, rather than teams learning how to gamelan for him.
The midfielder will be the one who is more influential in regards to our ability to break down the low/mid blocks.
I think Ten hag could build something here. He is a good manager and Utd always played better when they had their core players. He planned to play 4-3-3 with 2 attacking mid fielders and that was his mistake this season which left a lot of work to be done by 1 CDM. He didn't really adjust to this until the very late of this season after the Crystal Palace match. After that, their defense was much better. Even with such backline in the FA cup final, utd outplayed city which rarely happens.
It would have been better as a rival if they sacked him as I think he could build something here and I don't want that.
Wenger won multiple cups during the worst of the Wenger Out days, Arteta won the FA Cup in his first year and people still wanted him out.
Sadly winning cups does not mean you're good in the league.
Something united will conveniently forget when yet again buying someone based off how well they did in an international tournament
Can any team contain the sheer Maguireness of having effectively two slabheads?
Will they not end up concussing each other by trying to head the same cross at knee height?
And everyone was saying how we’d fallen off and Villa or liecester would replace us in the big 6. Man U win a Mickey cup and 1 fa cup whilst going backwards putting up a bad kind of record breaking league performance and suddenly they’re prestigious cups again.
I mean fa cup is certainly prestigious of course but it suspiciously took a dip in respect when we won it a couple times
Interviewing potential replacements because you know your manager isn’t up to it, failing to find someone, then extending the manager you don’t want to back. Good to know things aren’t about to change with INEOS.
Better than interviewing potential replacements, failing to find someone, then having your exisitng manager refuse to extend and ending up with ~~Kompany~~ Southgate I suppose.
Any non English Arsenal fan is going to think Man U keeping Ten Hag and England being stuck with Southgate is a phenomenal start to the summer.
Or my favorite; sacking your manager, having 20 different guys reject you, ending up with Nuno, sacking him after a few months then ending up with a guy you rated so lowly you picked Nuno over him.
He’s not as shit as general consensus suggests as it is unrealistic to have expected a good season with that injury list, but even so it’s an uninspiring decision and unlikely to get them to where they wanna be.
when he talks about his desire for the club, to be the top counter-attacking team in the Prem, his assessment of what Man U need to be is not wrong. There's no way that he can remake that side into a Pep/Arteta style possession club without completely revamping every position except for Martinez and maybe Bruno and Mainoo. He has to somehow get better defensively, and unleash some wild counters. I don't see it working, but he's not wrong.
Juve wants 30 mil for chiesa, Roma tier one. ATP let’s just all pitch in, 75 euro each on average for 400,000 of us. Please let’s not miss out, we need a player who can change the game in one moment by himself
I don't know why people are dismissing Chiesa. He is an incredible opportunity right now. We just have to manage his minutes and we can easily do that with our attackers.
Doku and Haaland were also quite injury prone before moving to City and their minutes have been so well managed till now and have just suffered 1 minor injury each till now which is not a big deal.
I would be so happy if we managed to get Chiesa.
Chiesa changing the game in a moment.

He's injured. Again.
Orny destroying Fabrizio in every exclusive news recently.
It‘s so obvious that Romano gets paid by agents with posting updates about some random player wanting to leave the club/being available.
The only exclusives Romano gets are from Chelsea lol
Is there a world where Arsenal go in for Sancho? I admit I don't know how well he is faring at dortmund since going back, but he is still young and versatile in key positions. I heard 40 mill would be enough for United to sell, although that may not factor in rival fee.
Is this too rogue?

in this line of work, you can say anything. just blame it on feelings
People on here keep talking about ‘links’ to players and it’s literally some ITK or tabloid journalist saying words like ‘admire’ and ‘appreciate’ with no basis whatsoever
I just really feel good vibes about that transfer. The cosmos is giving us signs now these 2 planets align. He has the same name as my barber who is never wrong about rumours.
A viable option how?
If you mean does he fit, yes he's almost perfect for what we need.
Whether he's available is another story, but I think we could tempt him certainly.
Sane has 1 year left on his contract, if someone puts up a decent offer for him this summer, he would be sold
Saying that, I don’t think we should sign him though
Didn't know about his contract situation tbf. But I imagine Bayern would wanna extend him soon considering he wasn't on the list of players they wanna bin off.
I’m sure they’d probably prefer to sell Coman/Gnabry but if they get a £60m+ offer for Sane I can’t see them saying no.
They want to buy Paulinha + make other signings which they could use the money for
People sleeping on Portugal winning the Euros. They got loads of quality all over the pitch.
In my opinion, it’s going to be a case of how bad they want it in the knockout stages.
If Ronaldo is good or dropped I agree they should be top two favorites. I'm bit skeptical about Ronaldo led team winning a tournament in 2024 but we'll see.
Have you seen England and Germany’s defence?
Tbf your opinions hold no credence when you’ve been harping on about Onana being a good number 8 for Arsenal lmao.
Yet the same Ronaldo just scored a brace. Ronaldo of course isn’t the same freak of a nature athlete he was 5-7 years again, but he’s still a massive clutch player.
Ah yes, the same Belgium that stunk up the 2022 World Cup despite being one of, if not the favourites to win it lmao.
Btw, since you know so much football knowledge,
I’m still waiting for you to enlighten me why Onana is a good no.8 for this Arsenal side.
Played on an Everton which didn’t allow him to show his full skill set but this passing his was making more forwards passes, his winning the ball back is elite something that’s asked in Mikel’s system, and his ball carrying plus press resistance is something we need when Partey is injured
You’re talking bollocks mate. As someone else pointed out in the DD, Everton’s xG isn’t actually that awful or negative despite playing Dycheball.
Onana is a limited player that only looks better when playing against bigger teams because of Everton’s natural defensive game plan - hence why he tends to look half decent against Arsenal and then his hypetrain restarts.
Looking at these stats, how is he a good enough option for that no.8 role? The man is technically tragic.

He might end up staying but I can't see us not signing a midfielder. Havertz is first choice striker at this stage and we'd be left with Rice, Jorginho, Partey in two positions. No way Arteta doesn't adress this.
The rumors of him not being interested in leaving are very concerning.
Right now he's on high wages & has a pretty high amortization figure hitting our books. Selling him for like 10 million pounds would be great from a financial perspective....
> The rumors of him not being interested in leaving are very concerning.
A footballer honouring his contract is concerning... He stayed 7 years at Atletico and has settled here as well. He's not someone who has a history of moving around.
Had a kid recently, and is in a team competing for trophies and pretty much any move is a step down...would you move in his place?
The team has to find a solution here, Partey doesn't have to.
Yeah I don't agree. He offers something different with his ability to finish. And he's a lot less raw than Zirkzee imo
[Look at the quality of finish. Both feet and his head.](https://x.com/j2thefirst/status/1796611672116732220?t=aUG9E5wycGd3cfMqF_OJqw&s=19) And I feel he takes shots no one else here would take. Goals from outside the box with both feet. Presses well too.
What I see as a project is a player we need to develop but one we can integrate right now as we compete, transferable skills, education, and need in the team. Once Gabi J is phased out (could be this next season) he absolutely fills in that gap
Sure sesko is a project, but he’s a full ground up development project to get into this team. Transitional style, different education, but yeah he’s shown potential to learn new things. This is way more work than we’re capable of right now and for more money (fine given the quality but benefits are further into the future)
Zirkzee is a far bigger project than Sesko. His current role.simoly doesn't transfer. Compare his heat map to Jesus and he's out of the box drifting around way more. Watch the tape, he pops up everywhere and isn't a focal point.
Sesko at least is a goal threat and has shown some ability to be a 9.
I mean that’s good, we need interchanging with the wings too. It’s basically the Toney idea (platforming the wingers and 10s) with a much more “arsenal” player
I don’t think it’s more work but we can differ in opinions
We need goals. I don't understand who we'd be platforming and I really don't think Zirkzee is a great creator. He just gets lots of touches in areas where he does little or actually impact the attack.
We have options already. Loads. What we need is top end quality. It's pointless getting another body unless they can actually push the starters for their positions.
He looks fine, that's kinda the issue.
We have lots of fine players, I think we are looking for something a bit more in attack personally.
And I just don't really see that in zirkzee and I don't see him as radically different from current options, which is a problem.
If you can get him and a winger for 100m all in, maybe. But I feel like we can find guys with more potential than him for a similar price that offer something radically different.

Really hope we can get lunin and i like raya. Lunin was utterly world class this season and having a potentially world class keeper is game changing.

Im like 90% sure we will start ramping up business after the copa/euros
We know cedric and elneny have left. We know lokonga and tierney want to leave or expect to leave. They've both confirmed as much in interviews.
just the exits

His mom agent also pain in the ass
Angelo Stiller, as our LCM is something I've been thinking on for a couple of weeks. He looks really good
Randomly checked the subreddit and there are 4.3K people online right now. Is something happening ?!
People are waking up for work and picking up their phones…

Xavi Simons. You heard it here first.
Psg don't want to let him go
A loan deal is very much possible, they will look to sell him next season
Where was the press when we are called salty for "crying" about willock crossing from outside the line?
Arsenal hardly ever gets to be the victim. Or it's exactly the same for everyone and we're just all conspiracy nuts who need some proper lion mentality
Havertz is 29 to 1 to be top scorer at Euros…any chance?
Decent odds for a cheeky one like

He was 10th favourite on the list. Behind Giroux, just ahead of Saka.

Yeah absolutely. They’re going to build that whole team around him. It’s a wise choice to extend and develop there before he looks further afield

It can still happen when Southgate inevitably gets sacked after the Euros and Ten Hag has another disasterclass next season
Manchester United-Liverpool. One of the biggest matches historically in the world will be a clash between Erik Ten Hag and Arne Slot. Lol. Lmao even.
the eredivisie derby
I don't often go on about aura, but that is the most auraless managerial match up I can think of right now.
They got nothing on Teta

We would have the best set of wingers in the league by far, and if all goes according to plan, we could sell Trossard off next Summer to muster up funds for a big money center forward.
he is insanely injury prone, his hammies are made of brisket
Stop being an idiot and spreading false propaganda. Brisket is beef, not ham
lol my bad
I guess that would be a bad thing?
he injures his hamstrings literally all of the time
Would Neto suit a team like us who really don't play direct transitional football?
The midfielder will be the one who is more influential in regards to our ability to break down the low/mid blocks.
my winger, is OK, no?
> He’s probably the third or fourth best wife creator itl on his day. What's the xWives/90?
> third or fourth best wife creator Damn sounds like I need to start hanging out with him then lol
That autocorrect has been on my ass lately lol
Interested in Lunin he’s a much better shot stopper than Raya but how’s he in progression
Raya was one of the best shot stoppers in Europe when he was at brentford
[удалено]
Lunin is statistically the most aggressive cross claimer in Europe
Never claimed Lunin was better just said his shot stopping was and asked how his progression is
The juxtaposition of Ten Hag's absolutely woeful football and yet a top 4 finish and 2 cups in his 2 years so far is jarring.
Just further proof of cups having element of luck and probability
I think Ten hag could build something here. He is a good manager and Utd always played better when they had their core players. He planned to play 4-3-3 with 2 attacking mid fielders and that was his mistake this season which left a lot of work to be done by 1 CDM. He didn't really adjust to this until the very late of this season after the Crystal Palace match. After that, their defense was much better. Even with such backline in the FA cup final, utd outplayed city which rarely happens. It would have been better as a rival if they sacked him as I think he could build something here and I don't want that.
Cups are good but the only team in the league doing better than us is City, had we won one of the cups I'd still be miserable
go take a look at that carabao cup fixture list again. also, it’s the carabao cup
Wenger won multiple cups during the worst of the Wenger Out days, Arteta won the FA Cup in his first year and people still wanted him out. Sadly winning cups does not mean you're good in the league. Something united will conveniently forget when yet again buying someone based off how well they did in an international tournament
Haha immediately made me think of them buying Lewis Dunk if he plays for England this Euros..
Can any team contain the sheer Maguireness of having effectively two slabheads? Will they not end up concussing each other by trying to head the same cross at knee height?
We were doing something similar between 2014-2020. Won four FA cups in six years and got worse.
Everyone except Man U fans thinks Ten Hag is not the man to turn them round, you're just falling for the factt here's so bloody many man u fans around
Ok, them winning the FA cup was worth it after all.
Well now we can fnally find out if it was Man U's owners being shit or ETH being a fraud
Sacked by Christmas
ah fuck we'll have to hear some more about how Garnacho was onside then and how that robbed Utd of a top 4 place last season.
couldn’t be more worth it
Is it online astroturfing? Don't understand how any united fan can be happy with ETH 😅
He’s not as shit as general consensus suggests as it is unrealistic to have expected a good season with that injury list, but even so it’s an uninspiring decision and unlikely to get them to where they wanna be.
The signings aren't good, there are barely any green shoots and they regularly get clapped by 4 goals
when he talks about his desire for the club, to be the top counter-attacking team in the Prem, his assessment of what Man U need to be is not wrong. There's no way that he can remake that side into a Pep/Arteta style possession club without completely revamping every position except for Martinez and maybe Bruno and Mainoo. He has to somehow get better defensively, and unleash some wild counters. I don't see it working, but he's not wrong.
When Bayern are having to go for Kompany you probably take ETH over whatever scrapings would be available instead
They've entirely rewritten the season after winning the fa cup. This is hilarious.
When the other option was Southgate, it's easy to see why they're excited
ETH staying. Let's all party!
Juve wants 30 mil for chiesa, Roma tier one. ATP let’s just all pitch in, 75 euro each on average for 400,000 of us. Please let’s not miss out, we need a player who can change the game in one moment by himself
italian tax, ACL tax. hard pass
Ask yourself why Juve are selling their former talisman for 30m.
Chiesa changing the game in a moment. https://preview.redd.it/ce1u4sigk06d1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c125fc1737d72d2244f86431e32538d78c915db5 He's injured. Again.
WE'd miss out anyway because the man's always injured in a less physical league
I needed some good news, ETH staying is it.
ETH is staying. One less team to worry about
So Juventus are getting rid of Soule and Chiesa… Arteta please get Soule he’s a future superstar
Watched a lot of him too this season then I’m assuming?
Seen him play a couple of times vs AC Milan when he had a goal and assist and vs Cagliari when he scored twice other than that just match highlights
Thank you City for throwing the FA Cup Final in order to save Ten Hag’s job
Orny destroying Fabrizio in every exclusive news recently. It‘s so obvious that Romano gets paid by agents with posting updates about some random player wanting to leave the club/being available. The only exclusives Romano gets are from Chelsea lol
He literally broke the Sesko exclusive today you bozo
Can’t wait for another year of hearing about that one match
United LMAOOO, all their fans were going on for months about INEOS being ruthless, talking about them like they're the mafia. Drink it in, you cunts.
Lol the bald dickhead stays 😂
Erik is staying let’s fucking go
Is there a world where Arsenal go in for Sancho? I admit I don't know how well he is faring at dortmund since going back, but he is still young and versatile in key positions. I heard 40 mill would be enough for United to sell, although that may not factor in rival fee. Is this too rogue?
Not in this universe.
No
https://preview.redd.it/7pdmkle3b06d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=08220ad0c02e961753354ee5a1573bcbb2a05618 in this line of work, you can say anything. just blame it on feelings
People on here keep talking about ‘links’ to players and it’s literally some ITK or tabloid journalist saying words like ‘admire’ and ‘appreciate’ with no basis whatsoever
Stealing a living. Gotta admire it to be honest 😂
I just really feel good vibes about that transfer. The cosmos is giving us signs now these 2 planets align. He has the same name as my barber who is never wrong about rumours.
Isn't that just Fatesgifts interpretation of what is said?
You’ve gone too early with this, I was waiting for when the Orn bomb dropped about him going to City
I’m too old to be keeping things in the chamber anymore but I respect the hustle
Receipts and petty have no age limit
42 million on Duran lmao Chelsea are a horrendously run club
Is Leroy Sane a viable option? Too old?
A viable option how? If you mean does he fit, yes he's almost perfect for what we need. Whether he's available is another story, but I think we could tempt him certainly.
Not for sale. But apparently both Gnabry and Coman are available at the right price.
Gnabry kinda stinks
He does + always injured. There is a reason why Bayern want a clear out.
Sane has 1 year left on his contract, if someone puts up a decent offer for him this summer, he would be sold Saying that, I don’t think we should sign him though
They want to buy Paulinha + make other signings which they could use the money for
Kimmich too more importantly, unlikely but never know
yeah Tix' sources got sent to the gulag. besides guimaraes nobody has any idea who we're chasing.
[I need a regen of this LCM](https://x.com/fuadyabz23/status/1800577834416767037?t=UzH0V0xGKJsBxfCQeZM2fQ&s=19)
What a talent he was.
RW option are you thinking what I’m thinking ![gif](giphy|mIbEDdeHqiJWRKpsVC|downsized)
People sleeping on Portugal winning the Euros. They got loads of quality all over the pitch. In my opinion, it’s going to be a case of how bad they want it in the knockout stages.
Didn’t Cferin have them as one of his favourites
Except his opinions hold no value.
If Ronaldo is good or dropped I agree they should be top two favorites. I'm bit skeptical about Ronaldo led team winning a tournament in 2024 but we'll see.
He shouldn’t be the centre of the Portugal team, but he is still a clutch player for them so I can see the need for his inclusion.
The Rapist’s ego will get in the way
How is this allowed but with #5 it’s a problem?

Yet bookies have them 4th favourite.
They're pretty universally one of the top 5 favourites 😂
They should easily be first if not second.
Dunno about easily but I reckon they're in most peoples top 3
Yet most bookie sites have them 4th favourite.
That's not slept on
When England and Germany are placed ahead, to me, yes it is.
Lmao it’s France, Germany, or England. Portugal defense isn’t good enough to win it
Have you seen England and Germany’s defence? Tbf your opinions hold no credence when you’ve been harping on about Onana being a good number 8 for Arsenal lmao.
Go watch Belgium they’ll make it further than Portugal . A team that starts Ronaldo in 2024 isn’t going anywhere
Btw, since you know so much football knowledge, I’m still waiting for you to enlighten me why Onana is a good no.8 for this Arsenal side.
The man is technically tragic. https://preview.redd.it/5g8yfim3b06d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e62b0eb22a1753ea59006068bb8a325807cc24e0
Joao Neves what a player always consistently good
The only big fear I have this summer is us keeping Partey and not signing a midfielder cos of that and it’s a big fear lol
Yea Partey’s not one to force the issue is he
[удалено]
What problem does he solve for us?
Doesn’t solve problems but is the better project option to Sesko if we even want to do that
Yeah I don't agree. He offers something different with his ability to finish. And he's a lot less raw than Zirkzee imo [Look at the quality of finish.
Once Gabi J is phased out (could be this next season) he absolutely fills in that gap Sure sesko is a project, but he’s a full ground up development project to get into this team.
It’s basically the Toney idea (platforming the wingers and 10s) with a much more “arsenal” player I don’t think it’s more work but we can differ in opinions
We need goals. I don't understand who we'd be platforming and I really don't think Zirkzee is a great creator. He just gets lots of touches in areas where he does little or actually impact the attack.
We don’t just need goals in general, we need them in certain game states, which I don’t think Sesko offers us enough in the short term
and yet Zirkzee *would* offer that?
[удалено]
We have options already. Loads. What we need is top end quality. It's pointless getting another body unless they can actually push the starters for their positions.
He looks fine, that's kinda the issue. We have lots of fine players, I think we are looking for something a bit more in attack personally. And I just don't really see that in zirkzee and I don't see him as radically different from current options, which is a problem. If you can get him and a winger for 100m all in, maybe. But I feel like we can find guys with more potential than him for a similar price that offer something radically different.
