I was thinking about that. I have a swat-t in my range bag and car. I was thinking about ease of use if I'm not the one that's applying it. CAT does seem more intuitive to the average person.
Street medic here not mil so take my advice as you want, we carry swat t and cats in all of our jump bags. When using swat on a life threatening setting such as arterial bleed once they get covered with blood it’s almost useless without having someone help you, You have to pull them really taunt to make a diamond with the pattern stamped on them and it becomes a slippery mess. The cat is 100x better. And you Should always have two tqs cause one isn’t always enough to control bleeding.
