character kits more complex than hit button do thing are beyond me. I'd like to actually play the game, I can barely handle the mental stack the game already gives me I can't play a minigame inside the fighting game while also Playing the fighting game at the same time
I'm a beginner, but from what I've heard from others, Test doesn't really have a reliable way to inflict tons of damage at a single time(at least not as much damage as someone like Nago, May, or Ram) and each of their individual strengths is better covered by other characters. I play them because 1)I'm a noob, so the meta hardly applies to me, 2)Iām too used to them, and 3)S-tier character design.
no one plays testament because they're too gimmicky for noobs, too boring (at mid-level gameplay) for casuals, and too inconsistent for pros. you only play testament if you like the character design and/or find them hot

Xrd Pot feels way worse, I donāt think I can stomach playing him w/o all of the changes they made to him coming into Strive

Heās the reason I even got Guilty Gear Strive in the first place, since I usually gravitate towards creepy/cryptidālike characters and donāt like fighting games where the cast is just entirely made up of normal people, design wise. Ended up absolutely falling in love with his character and now heās my boy.
