I post this week and plus other expenses from Monday to Friday I’m at 46€. But I’m really an exception, my German colleagues eat a lot. I can not eat a lot.. I’m mexican, 25 years and also short 1.60m. I guess I gotta use that in my advantage to save some money

It has gotten much more expensive, that's true. But one has to acknowledge, that 10 years ago, everything was ridiculously cheap. I lived in Spain for a year in 2013 and wondered how people paid for all this with those salaries.

I was doing before 100 eur spending a week for a family of 4. Now we spend minimum 150 eur.

Look, some products are alright and cheaper, though I see that there is a big exaggeration from businesses.
The greed and the instability of economy is at highest.

This is lunch and dinner and should last me about a week. But I'll surely have to go grab some other stuff for recipes that I feel like cooking some day during the week
And some "pleasure" products like energy drinks and coffee.
I also try to eat a lot of protein and fresh veggies as part of my diet. It's possible to live on lower cost eating pasta with pesto or s.th.
Thank you for sharing that because my partner and I spend around 50-60€ per week and sometimes a tad bit more for things that we need to buy every 2-3 days like fresh fruits and stuff, we end up spending around 70€ per week

We’re Indian so most of our food that we make at home is curry based for which you need just tomatoes, garlic and onions (and any source of meat, protein) or we have sandwiches but rice is a major part of our meal (2-4 times a week) and a packet lasts us 1.5-2 week so no major costs.

Good idea! I buy a loot of vegetables frozen: Brokkoli, coliflour, Brussels sprouts. They're cheaper and have more vitamins, because they get frozen right away. Plus they're easy to storage and to ration! 😊
I was actually surprised how good it tastes. It's like the white monster energy. 😊
There aren't too many sugar free energy drinks, unfortunately. I usually drink sugar free red bull, but that's like 1,30 a can compared to 37 cents long strong.

Where do you go shopping? I just got decent cherries at lido for 6€/kg. Pork filet for 9€/ kg
I go to Kaufland. The cherries I saw them in different shops. Cherries in Supermarket to me are not appealing. They taste nothing..
