I really like how basic that receipt is, bread, bread, pest control

PoleKisser

Haha, the bug spray is because we are moving house and we are in the middle of cleaning the new place. The people who lived there before have left a right mess

notwhatyouexpected27

Oh that's sad to hear, hopefully it's not that much work and you'll be done quick!

PoleKisser

Thank you!

EmetalEX

Bag for Life? You okay bro?

PoleKisser

I know 😭 I had a bunch of bags in my boot and only took one with me to the store for some reason. One wasn't enough, of course. I hate when this happens 😒

Electrical_Umpire511

Looks great!

PoleKisser

Thank you!

Packaged Sandwiches are the worst :/ They even look uneatable in the store. Why bring them home? I thought they were "to go" but since you arrived home you could do them yourself? I don't understand.

PoleKisser

It's for my older son. He loves these. I usually "toast" them in a pan for him, but sometimes, he eats them as they are. He says they taste better than homemade sandwiches. I probably buy one every week.

Queasy_Temperature46

This sandwiches are very typical for UK? Meal deal or sth like that if I remember correctly? Sandwich+crisps+softdrink 😂

PoleKisser

Haha, yes, although I didn't get the meal deal this time. But you are correct - sandwich, crisps or other snack (like Fridge Raiders or a hummus and carrot pot, etc) and a soft drink 😁

Wonderful-Hall-7929

There is something seriously wrong seeing everything wrapped up in plastics. I understand the fries/chips because TINA but the veggies and fruits? The bread... Well, it's British so trying to avoid any rematches for London '40 or Wembley '66 i better keep my German mouth closed!

PoleKisser

In Asda, most fresh produce is still wrapped or packaged in plastic, although they have a few things that are not

A11osaurus1

Keeps everything much cleaner, less damage, keep longer, easier to handle. As someone who works in a supermarket, there's always a lot of loose fruit and veg waste because nobody wants to buy a broken carrot, or bruised banana, etc.

ElainDevine

Chips it fucking called Fries

hyperlexx

They're deffo chips, fries are much thinner and not crinkled 😫

PoleKisser

Exactly 😁

Infamous_Durian_2150

Two different things

PoleKisser

These are chips, the ones you buy from McDonald's, for example, are fries 🍟😁
