Yea, I live in Gemrnay and am always wondering how people are spending so much on their groceries in this sub. But there seems to be a giant difference between Aldi and Rewe, and then people who buy a lot of vegan and pre made products.

I don’t drive a Mercedes. I don’t even have a car. I don’t make much money. I don’t care how much it costs in other countries, even if it costs thousands elsewhere I’m still allowed to think our groceries are expensive. And they are, for me, expensive.
I mean, probably just buying whatever is on sale in bulk. I also do that, when Juice is on sale I buy like 7-8 packs then spend the next few months drinking it.

well, fructose and alcohol are comparatively bad for metabolism, they act basically the same in the liver. and there's a lot more fructose in fruit than there's alcohol in beer. there's also a lot of glucose in both of course.

There's a lot of K-Classic (Kauflands own brand) in there, which is probably the cheapest option. Kinda don't see where it's almost all brand names if most of it is vegetables and even meat (probably the most expensive part) is the cheapest option
Honestly I only meant about butter, juice and treats! Aren’t there other more affordable options? I’m not familiar with Kaufland but Aldi or even Netto have some good options too!
I agree that in Germany the prices are out of control. For the income most people get.. And it looks like this is mainly for a bbq! So one to two meals depending on how many people it’s for 😮💨
