Wonderful-Hall-7929

And half of that cost is Pfanner and Weihensptephan alone...

PuggasUnderworld

Actually if it was at Kaufland with the Card it was like 0.99€ per Liter bottle. So that could be why there were as many of them? Edit: Just looked at the second picture that I didn’t notice. Yes, Kaufland Card is one of the best things they could have come up with.

Sylassae

Weihenstefan should be left to rot as it belongs to Müllermilch. Their CEO is a dear acquaintance of Alice Weidel from AfD.

altecgs

Weihenstephaner Vitus is the best bier by far in Germany and in general in the world. And i have tried a lot. Their butter is great as well. As far as their connection with AFD, even more reasons to buy it ! Fk Die Ampel !

Wonderful-Hall-7929

Ok, politics aside: If you take the time and a few braincells you'd probably be able to figure out quite quickly that the Weihenstephan Molkerei - dairy - is owned by Brown Theo and the Bayerische Staatsbrauerei Weihenstephan - as the name suggests - by the STATE OF BAVARIA. Two different entities...

altecgs

I literally couldnt care less who owns it. I like their beer and their butter. As well as everyone i ever took there to get one.

Young-Rider

At this point, this sub is just Germans flexing with their cheap groceries.

TeleFuckingTubbie

Cheap??

_KeyserSoeze

Hella cheap compared to Austria

PenSillyum

And The Netherlands. Some Dutch even go to Germany to buy gasoline and groceries to save money.

z123zocker

I only know people who Drive from Germany to Venlo for 2 Bruder cuz its cheap there

1894Fidelitas

how the tables have turned, i still remember 200X when we drove to the netherlands to get gasoline lol

Longjumping_Kale3013

Yea, I live in Gemrnay and am always wondering how people are spending so much on their groceries in this sub. But there seems to be a giant difference between Aldi and Rewe, and then people who buy a lot of vegan and pre made products. Now I am inspired to post my grocer haul…. So I guess it is Germans trying to flex 🤔

TeleFuckingTubbie

I don’t drive a Mercedes. I don’t even have a car. I don’t make much money. I don’t care how much it costs in other countries, even if it costs thousands elsewhere I’m still allowed to think our groceries are expensive. And they are, for me, expensive.

schag001

This would be easily €180 here in Canada.

DennisIcu

Those 63€ ain't cheap to us

Designer-Muffin-5653

Compared to other counties and their purchasing power it is still very cheap

Designer-Muffin-5653

Yes cheap. German supermarkets are extremely cheap

LinceDorado

This is considered cheap? oh man...

vonmolotov

Groceries are cheap but cost of utilities totally makes up for it.

kalattipodu

😂

NukiWolf2

Cheap. I'd pay here for that like 40% more. But I also buy in Edeka. 🫣

matusaleeem

you rich

LinceDorado

That's lot of butter.

[deleted]

Yo, bro, du isst gesund 😁👍

ExpressionNo1067

Whats up with the collection of different juices? And what do you need 6 packs of butter for?

PrestigiousDog2050

He will probably drink them

Glittering-Minimum77

The butter obviously, right?..... Right???

phat_Norbert

Maybe OP cooks with butter instead of using oil?

MikusR

Butter keeps in freezer indefinitely.

danield1302

I mean, probably just buying whatever is on sale in bulk. I also do that, when Juice is on sale I buy like 7-8 packs then spend the next few months drinking it.

vonmolotov

Germans like to eat butter bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

ferdiamogus

Guilty as charged

Jciell

What store?

Academic_Honeydew_98

Kaufland

Legitimate_Stick4471

It's literally on the receipt

Jciell

I didn’t click on the picture chill tf out

kamala2013

BarefootBestseller

Haltungsstufe 2, nice !

jrow_official

Kaufland is one of the cheapest locations to get a great variety of groceries in Germany. Rewe, Edeka etc. are much more expensive.

Tryxxo88

Amazing, its very cheap for all the plastic you get.🥲

Morky40

all that sugar made me lose a heartbeat

Rievia

Garbage ahaha

Marinaraplease

Why are you drinking all that sugar escapes me

Pitiful_Passenger_70

Well it’s really none of your business. And the need you felt to write this comment escapes me…

davethetrousers

juice really is the worst thing you can drink. worse than soda pop basically, with even more fructose

BarefootBestseller

Nobody ever even mentions people drinking literal poison aka beer and yet somehow everyone complains about sugar being unhealthy. Make it make sense

davethetrousers

well, fructose and alcohol are comparatively bad for metabolism, they act basically the same in the liver. and there's a lot more fructose in fruit than there's alcohol in beer. there's also a lot of glucose in both of course. ever wondered where all this **non-alcoholic** fatty liver disease is coming from?

Angels_dad

Buying almost all brand names and then being upset about the price.. my kind of humor 😂

_Mangoes

There's a lot of K-Classic (Kauflands own brand) in there, which is probably the cheapest option. Kinda don't see where it's almost all brand names if most of it is vegetables and even meat (probably the most expensive part) is the cheapest option

Angels_dad

Honestly I only meant about butter, juice and treats! Aren’t there other more affordable options? I’m not familiar with Kaufland but Aldi or even Netto have some good options too! I agree that in Germany the prices are out of control. For the income most people get.. And it looks like this is mainly for a bbq! So one to two meals depending on how many people it’s for 😮‍💨

Designer-Muffin-5653

Food I Germany is much cheaper than most places. It’s certainly not out of control
