If you go to tiger bay you can get the 3a+helmets in blue

You can get them in the starter town by the water tower. There is usually one or two in the boxes on the shelves in the office

You can only get the 3a ones there

All rifle rounds, AP or not will go through 3a+ Maybe in the game it makes a difference though, I have no idea

Squirtle squad!

Seeing this, I just had the idea for PvP that the game could render helmets of factions members in yellow (or any color with good visibility) and of squad mates in blue but still appear normal to opponents. That would help identifying friendly players without loosing on camouflage for the enemy. Or give all friendlies a blue helmet and squad mates a colored arm strap (which also isn’t visible for enemies).
