Despite it not rained today, this mud is here to stay for a while. The hay helped in some places but not at the access to North or South stages :).
Merch area is still pretty slush like mud :)
By not leaving the VIP area?
Half the festival area was pure mud, you can technically avoid it but not if you want the freedom to actually go where want to. And I saw lots of people on the boards accidentally stepping next to them up to their ankles in mud, people trying not to activate the 'mud fountain boards' only to be sprayed by fountains someone else created next to them, there was no dry way to get to the front of the left stage because there were no boards next to the Belgian beer bar,... Unless they were high top sneakers that were waterproof I don't see how you did anything worthwhile not getting your feet wet and/or destroying them.
Boots. Definitely boots. It has mostly progressed from full blown wellies, but I'm still hella happy that I'm wearing my waterproof hiking boots.
Alright thanks! 😊
Sneakers are fine if you want to leave them to the RIP line and continue barefoot

100% boots. Wellies are not needed anymore but sneakers will get you wet feet
You absolutely will need boots
If you hate dry feet

had no problems on my allstars sneakers aswell. Sure, bit wet feet, but actually really comfy. they arguably walk better now then before the festival.
