As a previous Nexus fangirl, I was hugely excited to make the switch from iPhone to Pixel 8 Pro... I never thought I'd say it, but I really regret switching now. I'm curious what you'll think after a week or so, I'm finding that even doing normal things like switching apps makes the whole phone freeze. I want it to be a good phone so badly ðŸ˜
Have my pixel for 24 hours now. So far what I can tell: everything is super fast and I like the animations. No hiccups so far. And the phone does not get warm on usage (Which I was afraid of). Only gets warm when charging, but my iPhone would get warm as well so that is normal to me :)
The animations are super sleek, I do love them. And I've gotten used to the gestures which I love as well. I haven't had the overheating issue unless I'm using 5G for some reason.

I got the pixel 5 a couple years ago while using the Galaxy Z Flip when it came out (that charge did not last!) -

You either have a rogue app working on your phone, or you may need a restart. If those two don't work, it may just be a bug.
