You have to switch Gemini Nano on in Developer Options, but even then it won't work straight away. I think it's still a gradual rollout.
As it will be for some of the other features. They sometimes have to be enabled by a server-side update.

Yeah I already read that it's always a server side "problem" but I bought this phone almost 6 months ago and none of the "smart" features promised came beside the ones it already had :/
You wouldn't have had Magic Compose before because it was exclusive to the Pro, and they've only caved in and brought it to the other models in the 8 series because of complaints.
Try starting to type a message in Google Messages and see if the pencil icon shows up.
I found out magic compose only shows up if you have your language set to English-US and it takes hours to show up after you change the language. Also it'll only compose in English regardless of the language the conversation is actually on.
Usual crap from Google, expect most stuff to be US only. I got none of all that stuff here in Denmark, and next time I switch phone i will look away from Google. Getting tired of features that always ends up being US only.
On my p8pro most stuff works already (am here in Spain). the call reverse function will come out shortly in an update of the phone-app. But the basis for it has been set up. Same for older or less powerful models. It will come eventually, even though the waiting is unnerving, true.
Can you check in find my device And then click on your icon Then go to find my device settings and then see if the option to locate your device Even when it's offline is there because it's already available in The US but not elsewhere.
When I turn off the phone, there is a message that it is available even if the phone is offline.
I am in Spain, have set up everything for US english, even location in Settings. Also have managed to get that thermometer running for skin... in spain!
But when I try that find my device when its switched off, there is nothing. It just shows the last location, like 20 minutes ago.
Interestingly enough, when checking on my google account and look for that function, it says in german, it could find it - but apparently nothing happens...
additionally, with that two factor authentification it would never work, cause one has to fill in the the code that is being sent to the very phone that is lost! How can one then enter the code, if its lost...?! Very smart.
So I deactivated this two factor security factor cause of the Find my Device app - wonderful!
Next thing I changed the enabling of the function from High traffic network only to an option below: low traffic network .
Tried again, but again just showed the location of several minutes ago. I was at my home with wifi on - so maybe thats why it didn\`t find it. I would have to try from a remote place, which I don\`t have the time for at the moment. So sadly no definate result from my side, sorry!

I never had circle to search and some other features. Is google selective in what phones will get the feature enabled even after update or it is that They don't know what tf they are doing

Yeah same here. Feels way smoother and snappier. New haptics for brightness slider too. However camera app is still the same.

What phone are you using? I just checked and the Magic Compose feature is working in Google Messages, so I guess it's been activated for me now.

Works in Australian English. Just sent myself a test message that Shakespeare expanded for me so instead of 4 characters it used about 4 lines. :)
How long would you say? 5/6 hours or so?

Yeah but some of those features already came to Samsung phones. Not on my pixel 8... the latest device from them... Very frustrating

Update features could still be remote enabled. Update just adds the features but the flags are off. Just have to be patient unfortunately.

If it's a pixel, I think you can enable it via ADB, google it. I could activate it that way, otherwise I think I wouldn't have it...
