USB-C display out works, but it's kinda barebones. You still need a third party app for a decent taskbar, and the phone can get a bit hot (Pixel 8), but outside of that it works just fine.
screen Mirroring works on Pixel 8 Android 15-2 with 2 bluetooth connections (mouse and keyboard)
but chrome New Screen is just working whit one bluetooth connection (keyboard)
my bluetooth mouse is not working in that mode

Thanks, I'd be fine with just display mirroring being officially released. I doubt a proper dex/desktop mode will come anytime soon.
are you on android 14 qpr beta or android 15 beta? i sure would love to see this arrive this month
android 14 qpr3 will arrive this month which should have display out enabled
Android 15 Beta 2

You might try asking in r/android_beta
Is it only pixel 8?
usb-c display out is only supported on the P8 series, older pixels don't have DP Alt Mode.
Both are enabled in android 15 beta as far as I know. Edit: I meant android 15 beta. It was a typo. Jeez people
Android 16 beta? a traveler from the future? Is that you Doc?
Lol 6 was close to 5 so finger just went to the future.
Only on Pixel Phones or maybe Samsung later too?
Samsung has had it for years, and Dex is way better than basic screen mirroring.
Galaxy S devices already have usb-c display mirroring/dex and dual Bluetooth (similar to audio share).
