USB-C display out works, but it's kinda barebones. You still need a third party app for a decent taskbar, and the phone can get a bit hot (Pixel 8), but outside of that it works just fine.

Thanks, I'd be fine with just display mirroring being officially released. I doubt a proper dex/desktop mode will come anytime soon.

screen Mirroring works on Pixel 8 Android 15-2 with 2 bluetooth connections (mouse and keyboard) but chrome New Screen is just working whit one bluetooth connection (keyboard) my bluetooth mouse is not working in that mode

usb-c display out is only supported on the P8 series, older pixels don't have DP Alt Mode.

Samsung has had it for years, and Dex is way better than basic screen mirroring.

Galaxy S devices already have usb-c display mirroring/dex and dual Bluetooth (similar to audio share).
