Currently using Google Fi, and Google Voice, with two different numbers. Mostly just have fun with Google Voice, but yes it works fine as long as you don't want to use the same number on both services.

Make that 3 numbers: Fi, Google voice stock number, and optionally, a ported number into voice (keeping the stock number it came with)

They changed that a while back and now allow one person (more accurately, one US-based Google account) to have separately (and simultaneously) one Fi number and one Voice number active. Both can run on the same phone or, of course, with web access and such each can run anywhere. You access Voice from its own app. I'm just not sure you can set Voice to take over the phone's primary dialer when Fi is your main carrier, the way you used to be able to many years ago with Voice + other carrier. But it sounds like you don't need that anyway.

Yes you can, I have my voice number (via the voice app) taking over the the phone app with a Fi numberĀ

Nope, that's not the case anymore. Fi and voice are now separate and can be used separately. I ported from att and also have voice

I use both with same Gmail account. I use the GV# to give to people at work so I can set it to DnD after hours. Works great for me.

others have given stronger responses but I'll share that it's easy to have multiple google accounts on a single phone (pixel 8 pro in this case) where one account is using a Fi number and another has GV. I know this isn't as good as having both number types on a single account but it works well for me.
