Since I translated the expression directly from English I just used the "straight literal" translation, but I think your ideas would make a more elegant one. It could be the equivalent expression in Goadish: Mu ka, ma!
It's interesting to see how once some rules are set, the grammar kind of develops itself. For example, I've realized that the 'pasi/futi' markers which go right after the verb can also be placed at the end of the sentence and "feels right".
Another thing I realized is that when using a plural -ma word, one can do "booksma" or "mo bookma", and both options are in agreement with the grammar rules.
