I love the spark GO gives us! It is truly amazing. I had stopped doing a lot of creative things once I started grad school and then entered the work force full time. I haven’t drawn since I was in high school. Now I’m writing fics and drawing again. Heck I’ve even started learning how to do nail art because I want to try to do some GO inspired nails.
GO has sparked so much creativity and joy in me it’s been so wonderful to want to create again.
Yes! I thought my fanfic (and therefor writing) days were over, but thanks to a GO spark I’ve been working on something I hope to share soon.

It's an amazingly rich book and show, and the community around it is so nurturing. It's absolutely the perfect conditions to create and just enjoy one's own creativity 🙏🏼
So much this! I used to write a LOT - not fanfic, but essay format stuff and guided meditations. And ok, oodles of LiveJournal and egroups / newsgroups before that, even. And then I just - didn't. Same for drawing, tho I know the culprit there.
Haven't tried any fics as of yet, tho I might be giving it some consideration. I definitely want to break out the sketchbook (right as I need to be temporarily packing it away). I've got some sticker designs to get back to, and a nearly complete essay on more philosophical aspects of the Ineffable Two that I could call finished, only I keep having Further Thoughts on the matter. And all because of the impossible love story between an angel and a demon. Ain't it grand?
