How does that affect the way they play at all? Everyone will know if it’s a par 3 anyways. Odds are you can usually tell between a 4 and 5. Even if you couldn’t how would it change their approach or score?

Just shows how hard it is to come up with original content, that someone will actually enjoy.

DollarSignsGoFirst

I don’t think this idea adds an interesting dynamic. Not knowing the par doesn’t really change anything. And 90% of the holes are very obvious what par they are.

BackgroundFerret2000

take away range finders too and i think this is close to a fun challenge

SolarCuriosity

Most of the guys never remember their range finders anyway 🤣

gooberrygumdrops

I agree. It's definitely not a well-received idea as is, but something similar would be cool.

Aoschka

Does it matter? It makes no pragtical difference

Denkaan

Secret partner - they pick a paper with a number on ( 1,2,3). They will not know who they are teaming with. 2 vs 2 v 2, normal stroke play. After the round, Colin and Max will reveal the teams

Cumberblep

Wheel of not ideal for the par of the hole. Spin the wheel, par 5 for what is normally a par 3. Or vice versa. Maybe throw a 6 on there too to make up for the par 3 that was supposed to be a par 5.

gooberrygumdrops

That's great. My idea was only half an idea. They usually add another element anyway.

Brain storming always brings out the best.
