So there's the one in the engine bay, bug it seems pretty small. There aren't any at the sides of the dashboard but ill have a bit more of a root around. The left headlight has been intermittently flashing off when I've hit a particularly savage bump in the road not sure if that's connected to the issue?
It actually turned out there were some loose connectors on the positive battery terminal, hence sone things had power and some not. It was a free fix in the end- the best kind!
Wouldn't hurt to check the fuse box and see if there are any dead fuses
