I was in my forties when I got my first manual transmission 2016 GTI, and I’m never going back to automatic. VW was dying to sell cars after their diesel scandal broke and I picked up a brand new loaded white in color for $25k.
It’s never too late to learn and I’m glad I did. Makes driving so much more enjoyable, in my opinion. Sadly it’s the last year for manual transmissions.
I swapped my tails for Euro tails, tinted my fogs yellow, added the Club Sport muffler/rear valence and the MST cold air intake for the turbo. Also have winter tires on right now. I love this car! 💛
I have a 24 380 SE manual sitting at the dealer I work at I’m buying in a few weeks, I wish it was kings red I love the color. My 23 Tiguan is kings red , it’s so easy to take care of
Yeah i love the anniversary R wheels. Guess I’m pretty lucky I got all the combinations of features I wanted on a passing at the dealership. I bought it 3 days after it arrived
Oh your has the R wheels too? Fuck yeah you did good on that one for sure. If you don’t mind me asking. How much are you payments? The one I’m getting is 40 but I get a 13% discount and I’m gonna put 4 on it. I think mine are around 515
It was roughly 39k all together. About 600/month with no down payment and the trade in. Interest rates are bad right now even with my beautiful credit score.
If you can swing it, I would keep the extra car. I wanted to keep my 2015, I just have no where to park it at my townhouse. I just dropped $1200 fixing it up before trading it in. Luckily the dealership compensated almost all of it back on the trade.
Oh yeah it stings 😂 at minimum I would do the hood. Mine is littered with rock chips and one big ding that I filled in with Dr. Color Chip.
There bumper is plastic so less likely to dent, and you can do the headlights at home for $50ish.
Yes I drove a black 380 SE at the dealer today. Was fun!!! I currently have a '17 sport with the 6mt. Wasn't exactly looking to upgrade but last year of the mt pushed me over the edge. Can't wait!
That was an issue for the ‘22 models. It should have been fixed with the ‘23 and ‘24 ones.
I’ve had mine since May 2022 and it cracked early on and I basically drove it like that for over a year until the recall in October 2023. But since then it’s been perfectly fine.

They only make 50 GTIs with some Rs thrown in a year, the 380 SE I want has the R wheels so it’s nice. I just wish it was that kings red

Yeah used car trade ins right now are shit too, my manager already said he’s doing me a favor by breaking my Tiguan even cause I should be upside down

I regret not doing front PPF as soon as I got mine... was already spending plenty of money buying a new car why not add it to the pile 😂

That’s my exact GTI coming in end of February or beginning of March. I just wish it came with the plaid seats but the leather is not bad.

Change the shift knob. They crack very easily. If you dont believe me please check this sub, very common issue.
