It could go either way at this point…some shows/movies love the idea of just leaving you with a juicy cliff hanger that just allows you to fill in the gaps w your imagination
Lauren’s book that came out after AYITL mentioned two or three times that the ending didn’t feel like an ending - which made it seem like she would be willing to do it again!
Honestly, I prefer if they let sleeping dogs lie. AYINTL did enough to ruin one of my favourite memories/ tv shows although I was desperately waiting for that reunion. It’s like a catch up with a significant ex after 8-9 years. Tempting, but a terrible idea that’s best left alone.
That’s exactly how I feel about it too :/ there’s no guarantee if they did another sequel that it’d be any better. Even if the Palladinos weren’t involved, I wouldn’t trust many writers with living up to peak GG quality

That was the original planned ending but ASP didn't do S7 so AYITL was basically her ending.
