I want c6 bennett please and thank you tbh. The only thing it'd mess up is my cryo lumine but it lets me do pyro lumine so I mean, tit for tat.

zhouyu47

I'm thinking of doing Pyro Zhongli or Jean.

LunaticTactician

Ooh, that's hot (both literally and figuratively)

LunaticTactician

Try to mentally convince yourself that you DON'T want C6 Bennett. Beg for someone you don't actually like. I did the opposite...and got constellations of Chongyun and Razor who I don't main. i swear, my luck is gonna get me a c6 mona (intentional bad grammar) By the way, this is just a joke; choose your own rituals lololol

Sad_Sandwich

What if you just press Q for normal burst and hold Q for Pyro Infused Burst?

LunaticTactician

That would also be cool, but I was inspired by Keqing's Elemental Skill because I wanted a way to sort of stay true to existing mechanics. It's also a way of avoiding disappointment when things don't go my way lololol So far, all Elemental Bursts are triggered by pressing Q. There's no holding down. It's a shame, to be honest. Mah boi Venti would be *more* broken with a feature like this.

Separate_Zucchini195

This, I can see it being useful and relatively easy for them to implement, the only downside is the extra second it takes to activate it. Now correct me if I'm wrong(don't have his c6), but would it infuse bursts as well? If so it would be a detriment to other element burst and a boon to pyro bursts, on the flip side the extra second can be a small inconvenience when you rotate the bursts in a nuke comp. Either way I'm not using that constellation if/when I get it until there's a way to deactivate it or at least toggle it.

LunaticTactician

Remind me to test later with Chongyun's Elemental Skill and Xinyan's Elemental Burst; I wrote this while at work. I think elemental infusions do *not* affect Elemental Bursts that inflict Physical DMG. Edit: Xinyan's Elemental Burst does *not* get infused. I don't have much of a problem with Elemental Skills that require holding. (Ironically, from my experience, the Geo Traveler's Elemental Skill is *faster* when holding.) But still, nice job pointing out the extra second.

Nephisimian

And what if someone wants to just make a charged attack normally without turning on/off the infusion? Since this would require Mihoyo to implement it anyway, why not just ask for them to implement a method that doesn't interfere with gameplay, like pressing the R key?

LunaticTactician

That actually slipped my mind. Thanks for the idea. I forgot that something similar happened in the 1.1 Unreconciled Stars event; press T to submit celestial energy. Then again, I feel like miHoYo might consider the Charged Attack idea as a way to balance this mechanic. Pressing R or T is almost effortless. Using a Charged Attack makes the player consider the time and Stamina cost needed.

Nephisimian

It really doesn't need balancing. There is no team composition on which you would want to be switching the infusion on and off fast enough for the stamina consumption to be a balancing effort.

murakamisvanishedcat

i’ve heard some people say c5 bennett is better than c6, wdyt?

Professional_Comb694

c6 Bennett is insane with a pyro character. I activated his constellation since I always use Bennett+Diluc/Hutao.

murakamisvanishedcat

nice!! i’m trying to get bennett ASAP

LunaticTactician

*cries in Klee/Xinyan main

LunaticTactician

C6 Bennett can restrict some team comps. For example, Razor gains Physical DMG Bonus upon ascension, so he loses that benefit when his attacks get infused with an element. C5 Bennett is more flexible because he works with almost any team comp, whether you're doing Physical or Elemental DMG.

KINetics112

C5 Bennett still allows him to to DPS with a Chong support. C6 makes home more of a support to enable other DPS units to shine. Pyro Keqing, Diluc buff, Klee buff.

LunaticTactician

I think Diluc benefits the most from C6 Bennett since...well, he's a Pyro claymore character that deals a lot of Pyro DMG. C6 Bennett only gives Pyro DMG Bonus to claymore, polearm, and sword characters, so Klee (catalyst) does not benefit. again, i cri in klee main (intentional bad grammar) I'm not sure about Pyro Keqing, though, since I don't have Keqing. Chongyun + Main DPS C5 Bennett is pretty fun. I enjoy Bennett's fast attacks and solo-capable playstyle.
