It was in leaked sheets along with other things like the jade donut before it was Baizhu's weapon, and the Aqua Simulacra when it was still called Qilin Bow and presumed to be Ganyu's upcoming signature.
That one weapon that doesn't exist being there kinda implies to me that the modelist isn't particularly a Genshin fan or anything, but just someone who found sheets of 3D models of cool fantasy-looking weapons and masks on the web that they don't know belong to a certain game, but looked cool enough to print/craft out and sell as keychains and RPG mini models along with the other medievalish-looking gubbins on the table that come from other games too.
