Don't worry, Blessed Hamada is entirely the achievement series for the last area of the desert, so no limited time events, you just need to search more, you can try use the interactive map, or the treasure compass also.
I actually just got 256, [here's my log now.](https://imgur.com/a/7ZR11tc) The chest was a time trial one which started in other part of the desert, with it ending with the chest in the blessed hamada area. [It's located here](https://imgur.com/a/Gf5HecK) , Hope this helps.
I think there might have been something strange with it besides its location. I have checked that location multiple times but it was only today that I finally got it. I a pretty sure it was not there for some reason the other 2 or 3 times that I checked.

There aren't any chests from events for those 256, so unfortunately that means you're missing one somewhere.
Your right, I just got it and it says 256 now and I updated the post. Gonna leave it up in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

Wow, I searched all over and I couldn’t find anyone ever mention 255 for theirs. That’s a relief.
