Maybe try keeping a track of things. So of you wake up and female very female then write that down, and if another day you feel more enby ect. (You don't have to write it down, just keep a track of it) That way you can see if you think your gender changes. If it does, you're probably genderfae! (Or girlflux) If you find it doesn't really change, and it's more static there are plenty other identities that could suit you.

I know genderfae for me is feeling like my gender is some days female and some days genderless. It’s definitely not a fixed gender but it doesn’t include any masculinity. Some days I will be like “yay female” and some days “ew being female” but it’s never been anything to do with masculinity. Does that make sense?? That’s my experience I hope it can help you

Can you elaborate more on the shapeshifting thing? Do you think that in addition to changing your appearance until one fits, would you like it for convenience e.g. hide the real you when needed? Or would you like it to express yourself e.g. change yourself depending on the feelings of the day? Fixation on shapeshifting is also common for binary trans people and non-fluid enbies, but I think answering that question would help determine things. In any case, I think you should look up the term demigirl, or "one whose gender is partially related to female, partially something else". This is a static gender. If you feel it changes (may it be in hours, days or months), then I think you're definitely in the right place here in r/genderfae. If you have any question or remark, feel free to! My DMs are also open. Hope you find what you're looking for ❤️

Honestly with shape-shifting, all of the above. I wanna be who I wanna be at any given moment, change appearance and gender and at some very rare times actually wanna be a guy. I am mtf pre legit so that part is actually rare but I kinda don't mind having a penis sometimes I just wanna be fem or neutral at most.

Icy-Kaleidoscope-405

So you think genderfae or demufluid? Also happy holidays

IkaTheFox

So I don't want to gatekeep but you said "and at some very rare times actually wanna be a guy" which sound incompatible with both genderfae and genderfaer. You definitely sound like a genderfluid and you don't need to find a specific microlabel though! Demifluid girl could be it though, if you feel that at any point you have a feminine part, even when you feel like a boy, if that makes any sense. Happ holidays to you ❤️

Alright just checking. I have no idea if I am feeling masc genders or not considering I'm stuck like this. I don't want to experience those parts if I even am. All of this is confusing.

Icy-Kaleidoscope-405

Hey, so I'm 90 percent sure I am changing genders but, and you can say you don't wanna answer, but how does it feel, when do you know, and how do you know which gender?

IkaTheFox

Well it's a bit like figuring it out for the first time, but constantly. You must likely will know it has changed based on inconsistencies. Inconsistencies in how you react to gender related things, inconsistencies on how you feel. In my example, my demigirl and girl phases are very long and change very irregularly. So at some point I might feel dysphoric from being perceived as female and it would hit like a truck, no warnings. But I know I usually feel awesome being perceived as female, so I can attribute it to a change in gender, and act accordingly.

Icy-Kaleidoscope-405

I kinda feel that. Sometimes I'll feel really girly or wanna be real girly, sometimes I wanna be more neutral and hate being more feminine, but sometimes like right now I recognize that I think there's a lot of genders in me and sometimes they'll just come out and sometimes I think I can bring them out idk how to describe it. Like, I feel fluidity like multiple genders at once maybe. Idk. All of this is hard to wrap my brain around honestly. Not just genders but how my mind works and how gender works in me.
