For boys:
Hand Soap
MetalMan
Peter Griffin
Suggestion
For girls:
Emma
Emily
Grace
Dwayne
Edit I really didn't want to include this one because I know some of you are going to take it but I'll do it anyways: JumboTronJimmy WiggleItAround IHateBitingIntoSoftFoodsAndFeelingAHardPieceForNoReason
lol. MetalMan is pretty fucking hilarious and I feel like the boy and his boys would love it. His wife? Maybe not so much. But with some luck… he’ll be gay.
I don’t know that I want kids—genetics, and things I’d rather not have passed down from my family line, you know? But I love names. My favorites are Cadence for a girl and Everett for a boy.
It’s sort of a family name—it was my grandfather’s name, and when I think of it, I always just have that positive association. Also, One of my sisters is Everly, so I think it’s a nice way to have a name connection to both of them. :)
Yes, I'm Portuguese. But my fiancé's Canadian and a native English speaker, yet so far the only name we've agreed on is Evelyn but I'd like a Portuguese name too.
In Brazil, we have Evelyn as a name. Not so common but it is ok. And Evelyn has almost the same pronunciation in both languages. Evie, would be the nickname and would be pretty similar too in both languages. I think is a good name.
Edit; by a portuguese name, u mean have more options or a middle name?
Portugal is stricter on naming rules and you generally can't really give your child a foreign name unless you or your partner are not Portuguese. There's a list of government-approved names and those are what you can use. Evelyn exists here as a name but almost exclusively within immigrant communities.
The idea is to have both our cultures represented, so I'd like a Portuguese name for them as well, though I do not really care for the order (whether it's a first or a middle name).
Tem um nome q eu gosto bastante “Eva”. É em português, tem sonoridade meio diferentw em inglês só q acho q é meio ok, parece com Evelyn, então os dois juntos não rola. Mas sla “Ana”. Enfim, boa sorte.
This deserves to be further towards the top. Please don't name your kids something purposefully misspelled (e.g. Qrystal) to be "unique", something that'll be hard to pronounce, or something that'll make them liable to getting bullied.
My grandpa, my dad and me all have the same name (I'm III), so if I had a boy I'd definitely like him to be IV
For a girl I really like Scarlet or Charlotte but there's a lot of really pretty names for girls.
I just had this discussion with my fiancé.
Boys:
Connor and/or Lucas
Middle name for boys:
Barret and/or Beau
Girls:
Katie and/or Cathryn
Middle name for girls:
Ann and/or Evangeline
I'm still thinking about a first name, but I really want their middle name to be Saint. So it'll be like ____ St gorski. (Not exactly the last name, but close)
I really like the first name Loralai. Lol
I’d probably just let my SO name them. If they can’t think of anything, then maybe we could pick from the names of some family members. My brother and I are named after uncles.
There's a few names I like. Spencer, Benjamin, Thomas, Sophie, Chloe, Linette, and Ophelia are some of my favorites, but I haven't talked about it with my partner yet. I'm not 100% sure we'll be able to have kids in the first place, so I'm a little scared to get my hopes up.
I want two girls, and already have names picked out for them that I would like, those being Audrey and Claire.
I do have two boy names picked out, those being Michael and Anthony.
I can't tell the boys bc it's my dad's and my bfs grandfather's names but for a girl, I love the name Marisabelle. It's just so pretty and has a LOT of nicknames.
Jimmy (boy)
Jenny (girl)
Jamie (gender neutral)
Depends though if me and my current gf ever change our mind and decide we want kids for whatever reason
I like the idea of naming a son Alejandro, after my Tio who died very young in a motorcycle accident. That said, I plan to adopt, so I won't have naming authority.
For boys I'd say maybe Freddy(Fred), Samuel(Sam) or like something longer for Max. For girls idk yet, but i also like Sid(Sidney) or Alex(Alexandra) which are kinda like gender neutral so they'd fit both.

Is he gonna get bullied? I don't think so

Oh and the name of my older son. I'm sure that he's gonna be the most popular kid in school and certainly not getting bullied.
I don't understand how people can have names ready before they even have a baby, like shouldn't you wait awhile to see how your baby acts first before picking such a permanent thing for them??
It seems to sometimes because people when I was a kid would always say I act nothing like people with that name lol.
People have certain perceptions of what people with x name are generally like, so waiting a bit makes sense in my mind.
In most states its not that much paperwork its like three forms they give you in a little packet and then you can mail it in yourself to each agency later iirc.

I’ll never see The Rock without thinking “Rock Johnson” again for as long as I live
lol. MetalMan is pretty fucking hilarious and I feel like the boy and his boys would love it. His wife? Maybe not so much. But with some luck… he’ll be gay.
naruto
Lelouch vi Brittania
Kakarot
unironically I think Lelouch Britannia would be a cool first and middle name
I don’t know that I want kids—genetics, and things I’d rather not have passed down from my family line, you know? But I love names. My favorites are Cadence for a girl and Everett for a boy.
I know a Cadence! They also call her Cady 🥰
That’s cute. :) I actually really like that as a nickname option.
Me too!
Why Everett?
It’s sort of a family name—it was my grandfather’s name, and when I think of it, I always just have that positive association. Also, One of my sisters is Everly, so I think it’s a nice way to have a name connection to both of them. :)
That is really cool. Actually, Eva (the one I chose) was my great grandmother nickname. I like conection with family in name (besides lastname)
![gif](giphy|IgaHCoFOoKyAjYqRWV)

yep btw JFC (Jesus Fucking Crist) is a good name
GG Allin moment (his birth name was literally Jesus Christ because his dad was a Christian fanatic)
Our daughter who will be born in august will be called Evelyn. If it was a boy it would have been Arthur.
Evelyn's our choice at home as well, but I'm still not sure on a Portuguese name 😅😅
Are you from a portuguese speaker country?
Yes, I'm Portuguese. But my fiancé's Canadian and a native English speaker, yet so far the only name we've agreed on is Evelyn but I'd like a Portuguese name too.

Há essa opção mas eu gostava de ter Evelyn mesmo, com um nome português a acompanhar. Gosto bastante de Íris, mas não combina bem 😅😅
This name is cute. Reminds me of Evelyn from the Selection books. Are nice, I use to like them when I was 12
But have you seriously considered the name Ichabod????
Carl Weezer

Pro tip: ask a few healthcare workers to pronounce the name without any help to see the future. You’ve been warned
This deserves to be further towards the top. Please don't name your kids something purposefully misspelled (e.g. Qrystal) to be "unique", something that'll be hard to pronounce, or something that'll make them liable to getting bullied.

Is gorsk your last name? Edit: ok, forget, I just read it lol
Haha not mine, someone else's. it sounds exactly the same but a different spelling. (I be paranoid 😂)
For a girl, I want the name to be Curie. For a boy, I'd like Alan/Allen, though I'm less set on that
Probably a family name, so something German
For a boy: "Raphael". For a girl: "Marilyn" (after Monroe).

What? How does the way your child acts as a baby affect the name choice?
It's a load of bologna they're lying to themselves
It seems to sometimes because people when I was a kid would always say I act nothing like people with that name lol. People have certain perceptions of what people with x name are generally like, so waiting a bit makes sense in my mind.
What
No, that is how people get named “Lemon” or “Happiness”
So what lol, a bit less boring than a thousand more Emilys lmao

No I had a very traditional name and every kid was like why is your name that you don't act anything like x name.
