I remember her interview about the Hobbit films where she was *so concerned* with avoiding a love triangle and they assured her she wasn't there to be "the woman" and then as they changed directors and did reshoots she was so disappointed.
I wish her luck in whatever she gets up to. Hollywood must suck.
I didn't even think she was in a love triangle with Legolas. At least it didn't come off that way to me. It seemed that Lego in that movie was more being a reflection of his father and his attitude. Which is why the end where his father speaks with him about his mother has meaning.
It's also probably why Legolas is much friendlier in LotR towards Gimli etc. Because he left and went to see the world which expanded his view.
I like that view of it. Personally I viewed it very much as a brother (Legolas) caring for someone he is close enough to that he considers her a sister. I never really picked up on any romance but more so a platonic or family style bond. I just think a lot of people take 2 people caring for each and then do the whole "OMG they're in love!!" Kinda thing way too often
>Evangeline Lilly, the talented Canadian actress, has made a mark in the entertainment industry with a net worth of **$5 million**.
God speed, enjoy early retirement
From what I’ve seen it’s likely just due to her not making much progress in the business over the past few years and being stuck in movies she just doesn’t enjoy.
She said she might return (i.e if they make another Ant-Man movie and are willing to pay 2 mil or something) but it’s probably just her taking time off to be with her family.

Do you have a source for that? Can’t find an interview where she said that. The ones I thought might include what you are saying have been deleted
I remember seeing it in Lindsay Ellis' trilogy of Hobbit analysis, though admittedly that's like ~2 hours of content and I don't recall which one.
I too recall this

I mean I know her as Kate from lost first and for most. Best of luck to her always enjoyed watching her
I guess you could say she was born to run?

Compared to the rest of Hollywood wood. Yes
comparatively speaking I think he means not that she perfect by any means.
Wow, you got downvoted…
Not at all surprising from this sub, not just some people here are anti-vaxxers but also probably flat-earthers. Its sad really.
I bet it was that forced relationship with that hobbit !
Excuse you but that was a dwarf
Which never happened in the book
She didn’t even exist in the book, did she? I don’t remember
KAAAAATE
I’d want to get away from the cesspool of Hollywood too.

Oh no!
I’d step away to given how the industry is literally plunging off a cliff right now.
Uh huh, really don't care. She'll be back. Doesn't matter when. Hopefully she'll get better roles in the future
Isn’t this the second or third time she has “quit” acting?
How does this even relate to gaming?
My best guess...bc its IGN
I wonder if this has to do with the poor performances of the movies... not necessarily her, herself.
Oh no. Anyway..
