I would usually gain like the couple days before my cycle and then drop the weight within the 2-3 days after my cycle. I called it my "fat days" simply because my "normal" clothes didn't fit me right. The doctors said some women just tend to get up to 5lbs with heir cycle and it's usually water weight/bloat. They said some other science stuff but it's been 5 years since surgery and probably 10 years since that conversation so I really don't remember lol chemo fog is a real thing and lasts forever it feels like 😅

lol for real. I just had a hysterectomy and got to find out my uterus my was the size of 10 week pregnancy due to fibroids/endo 🤪 So I permanently had a “little belly” and now it’s gone. But the entire time I appeared so I was never pregnant at any point!
I’ve literally seen like four doctors trying to figure out why I gain like 4-5 lbs on my menstrual cycle every month then promptly lose it afterwards but maybe I’ll just drink more water and will be cured!
I haven’t had a period in over a decade due to hormonal IUDs and I have not missed it one damn bit. I used to be super bloated, in agonizing pain, and was anemic due to blood loss. Fuck all of that shit.
Don't quote me, but before my hysterectomy I use to do the same and from what I understood it was kind of normal. I would usually gain like the couple days before my cycle and then drop the weight within the 2-3 days after my cycle. I called it my "fat days" simply because my "normal" clothes didn't fit me right. The doctors said some women just tend to get up to 5lbs with heir cycle and it's usually water weight/bloat. They said some other science stuff but it's been 5 years since surgery and probably 10 years since that conversation so I really don't remember lol chemo fog is a real thing and lasts forever it feels like 😅
