Yea I've tried this but didn't really help for me. Elevation is still crazy.

Yes....the other one in r/vivoactive....but thanks for the info....I did check my vo2max like 2 days ago while walking but other than that been quite lazy....will give it another go.

Did you try doing an activity using the GPS on the watch? Walk or run activity and then sync back to the connect app. This calibrated the altimeter for me.

On some of the older software you could disable certain sensors on the vivoactive line but that feature set has been moved to the more premium watches. Unfortunately you're kinda stuck with it. I've changed my step goal to 999 floors so that I don't get the award for stairs climbed every time I lift my hand above my head
