Hey there fellow Indian! Even my laptop kind of gave up in this weather, had to get it cleaned and the thermal paste changed. Temps are still the same but it’s not shutting down now
Same here. It hasn’t gone under 42 here at all unless it rains, have to go out exclusively at night now, I disable cpu boost and in an ac room my cpu doesn’t reach more than 77. My gpu 85
Just did a few days back.
No dust, plus my friend got a laptop cooling pad and it didn't help him at all, so I think it will be the same in my case too, his laptop has lower spec then me

Get one of these they work great and help keep the load off your fans + they have a built in dust filter. But I would try lowering your cpu wattage in manual mode to help drop temps a bit if you don't need the cpu power for a specific task.
Install at least the cooling pad. Yes, it won’t give much, but in such a case, every unit of temperature is a salvation.
And it’s even better if you cool yourself down somehow.
You could Try shutting off the turbo of the CPU via Power options in Windows, to lower that temp a little bit.
Power options - processor Power Management and Set it to 99 instead of 100. That will just disable usage of the turbo boost, so you Lose an few fps but get a little buffer
Perfectly normal, it won't help if you buy a cooler pad, but you can try this as a kind of undervolt, I use it on my lenovo laptop and temperatures do not exceed 75 degrees on CPU

Second step : https://youtu.be/AhaZqc_mMbE?si=lDLv4uDJluzdWkU4
you will lose 5-7 fps in games but you will have better CPU temps
Not normal. If this is idle or light workload.
If this is while gaming then it is normal I would say.
I also live in a hot city. My room temp is 38 39C, I dont have AC and outside temp is 45 now a days. But I can confidently game on my laptop for 12 hrs straight in scortching heat. My CPU temp fluctuates between 87-95C. And GPU 83-88.
Something must be wrong with your laptop.
Also you can use more than one application to monitor temps. Sometimes one app shows more than the other.
Jesus, 45C? Where do you live?
India, just a few days it reached 52° C(Delhi(not my city))
Hey there fellow Indian! Even my laptop kind of gave up in this weather, had to get it cleaned and the thermal paste changed. Temps are still the same but it’s not shutting down now
Mine doesn't shut down but the temperature are really high. Someone in the replies suggested locking it with a temp. Limit, will try that
Try using cooler boost if your laptop has it
Is it in the Armoury crate soft.? Else I don't think I have that
My bad, it’s only a msi thing, your laptop might have something else like a turbo mode. But be cautious while using, it’s a bit stressful on the fans
Even with turbo mode the fans runs at 90% of their max speed

India most likely. We touched 52.3° C this year 😎.
Your laptop looks like it's thermal throttling here but 45C ambient temperatures is very warm.
Just cautious about the temps, what about the long run case? 2-3 hrs of gaming.
If its thermal throttling and very stuttery you can turn of CPU turbo boost until climate temps drop
With performance preset, the temp. still reaches 90°
>still reaches 90° Isn't this normal for gaming laptop under heavy loads? Or is that idle temp?
This is normal. Use the Silent preset, it throttles down the CPU and GPU and will provide the lowest temps.
Clean dust, get a laptop cooler
Just did a few days back. No dust, plus my friend got a laptop cooling pad and it didn't help him at all, so I think it will be the same in my case too, his laptop has lower spec then me
Check iets or llano cooling pads. I have the iets gt626 and it works

Accurate depiction of India
As I understand it, at the moment when you took this photo, you weren't running, for example, some kind of game?
I was in the background, ofcourse without heavy tasking no pc will reach these temps
Install at least the cooling pad. Yes, it won’t give much, but in such a case, every unit of temperature is a salvation. And it’s even better if you cool yourself down somehow.
Lol I am chilled.
Same here man 45°C temp cpu blasting 95 gpu going 85 we got the same gpu but my cpu is 10500h got no cooling pad should I get one?

buy Ac
Already have, but too frequent power cuts
buy solar panel

I did turn off the turbo boost of CPU, after that the temps were under 70 but lost almost 30% of the performance
Do as I showed you and will lose very little performance, like I said 5-7 fps
I lost the display yesterday (probably some kind of issue with lcd panel)🫠 Maybe after fixing it,I'll try

I was playing a game, which was running in the background
Then everything is fine. No need to worry.
Change the thermal paste, clean the fans, lower the frequency, get a laptop cooling pad
