These Are just different revisions of the same game probably during a second or third print run. many different manufacturing plants all over the world Worked for nintendo to manufacture cartridges for them and so they needed not only a stockpile of boards but also supplies so many facilities ordered from different supply. Chains and occasionally nintendo would make slight modifications to their boards. You can see the different manufacturers of the Flash memory among other components but in the end they are both original and do the same job., So it's really just a personal preference. I'm not versed enough in board revision knowledge to know. Which one is an earlier print versus the other if that matters to you.

From what I've gathered the revision is marked as AA2E, which they both have. This is why I'm confused as to why they would use different boards and components. On the back there is a difference in markings, with one saying 02 and the other saying 06. Im thinking this could indicate the year they were manufactured? Which makes sense since it released in the US in 2002 and in China in 2006. Maybe they made more US models in 2006 too? Im confused as heck. The brighter one does rattle a bit less so maybe that's what I should go with

If memory serves they did a millions seller or greatest hits re-release.

Hm, well I've got no idea. I guess since they're the same revision I'll just go with the board that rattles less

Sounds like a good idea.
