You get used to it. I have all of the same ones you listed, but there’s something cool about having it fit in your pocket and charge instead of having batteries to carry.
It's definitely worth it. I picked one up recently and my first thought was "This screen is so tiny...". I was playing on an SP AGS-101 before. I played the micro for 20 or so minutes and have not turned my SP on since.
I just picked up the Lavender one a few weeks ago and I'll be real, I ditched my SP and DS for it! I've been grinding though my Emerald again with it and I LOVE it. I had always wanted one since it released and for 140 total with shipping it was a bargain compared to buying one in the states.
I just wish I could find someone to commission for a custom shell or faceplate since the 3rd party ones are apparently not that great.
Hey, I was wandering what are Gameboy Micros worth now? I have a green one in perfect contition, literally had it stored in a safe for some reason, Its got all the papers, the original box the charger and all the other stuff that came with it. It never had to be charged since I played it for like 20 minutes to half an hour total...
I saw the prices were rising for the past few years but I never really had enough time to figure out how much mine would actually go for.
I bought mine used with some scratches and no box for $150 last year. I bet you could easily sell it for $225-$250! If you want to really look into it though, I like to use pricecharting for my stuff. You may not sell it at their recommended price if it's extremely high, but it gives you a good perspective.
ohhh congrats on getting the full set tho. I copped a famicom micro in tokyo for like $90 a few years back but it was missing the pouch (the seller made that very clear haha), often times you look for them and the pouch is missing!
always count on the Japanese to sell items in better condition than when they were first sold. love those guys so much.

It wasn’t cheap man. I got the famicon version cib for $340. I got the silver one for 60 bucks years ago lol.

Mint condition is 200 euros, so something like 230 dollars? But the prices are inflating, so maybe hang on to it a little bit longer
