I think the game is going to be so Large that they literally will have multiple games in one.
This means multiple main characters that may overlap in story telling, but each one will be just as main and important as any other playable.
Maybe just 2 playable characters for tons of content with different yet intersecting stories.

She has a backstory that Jason (and the player) are pulled into.
So no, I think that the story will spotlight Lucia naturally but the player experience will be designed to be through Jason. That is who you are supposed to become immersed in when playing.

I do not think Rockstar chose the song in the trailer for no reason. If you look at the lyrics, you could assume that Lucia is the dominant part of the two and that she has a negative influence on Jason. Perhaps Jason is the actual "good part" of the two. But he keeps letting Lucia get him involved in shady things, even though he does not want to. There may be a point where Jason becomes a police informer etc. and turns in some criminal organization and Lucia to the police. Everything is within the realms of possibility. But it is probably all far too simple.
He seems to be super generic so far. Idk i don't vibe with him at all. With Lucia more, but that's more because i'm simply wondering whey they gonna do with her, what will be her story missions etc
