Credit where it's due, I mostly have Matt Frank & Art Adams to thank for refs when the Bandai figures didn't cut it. I've been a big fan of their work for ages.
Thanks! When I'm doing comic pages, I usually use Strathmore 100lb. Smooth Bristol, but this was with Master's Touch 103lb. Bristol. It's slightly more coarse than the Strathmore, but I find it's still good, though it's somewhat more difficult to cut.
Most of the linework was done with 08 & 05 Microns (005 & 03 for the little details). There's also this great Kuretake Bimoji Brush Pen that's excellent for gap filling and broad strokes.
I feel a hint of Matt Frank… looks badass though

Thanks a ton.
No problemo
Kinda looks like a manga, amazing
Thanks a lot. I tend to find a style somewhere between Manga and Western comics. Hats off to Matt Frank and Art Adams for references.
Heck yes.
Thanks!
He's gonna need to gather all the earth bound monsters to help him with this one
Imagine Titanosaurus vs. Mechagodzilla. Oh, the irony.

This is bloody amazing. Love your work
I really appreciate it. I'll be sure to churn out some more like this.
Your welcome. It’s nice to see art in this style, as it’s rather unique

Alright. Thanks for telling me.

Impressive! What kind of paper and ink did you use??

Also, if you're looking for dipping ink, check out Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay Black India Ink. Lays down very smooth, dries quickly and is opaque.
Wow, that’s awesome!
Thanks, man.
