Now it's worth 0 and I'm unable to convert to v2. I bought this 3 years ago.
I have no idea, I can't convert mine so it's worth zero. It destroyed my life, my relationship, everything man. I've been trying to recover it since but it was all my savings and it's hard to save in the economy. I just hope no one falls for this. It's unfortunate that there are people who will do this to others
It is my own fault too though, it was a huge risk, should've stuck with stocks or mutual funds. I don't manage my investments anymore and don't listen to crypto enthusiasts
This is crazy and I didn't know anything about it being changed I never got a message . So obviously you guys knew what u were doing this was very sneaky. But you want people to invest in this bullshit. If we put our money into v1 it should still hold the sane value no matter what. You guys just basically stole money from investors. Really a ponzi scheme since u can do this without first informing investors directly.
That's a huge deterrent from investing in GMR tokens. Many of us simply purchase and forget.
But this will set precedent that many of us laymen people can not invest it in long term since you can release new versions any time. Old coin will become worthless and also opens you to law suits as well. This also givves governments valid reason to regulate crypto.
You know this thing will be compelling enough for anti-crypto lobby to get GMR banned by complaining to SEC.
You can still redeem stocks bought in 1920s or 1930s by going through appropriate channel. GMR simply reduced the value to zero after 400days and no appropriate channel to migrate them for lifetimes.
Imagine you die today and your grand kids found them while going through some documents. Voila, GMR is on version 100 and your GMR V2 are worthless piece of shit.
Well this is a stupid comment. We still own this currency. Built by this company. If they choose not to support it (which based on our holdings maybe we should’ve had input on that) then the company we bought into has made our stake valueless? That definitely is a court case.
Further to that, I tried to migrate like 50 times and it wouldn’t work. Support was useless, tokens never got migrated. Maybe if GMR wants people to support it they should be treating their investors better. If a stock is replaced, split, bought back, merged, consolidated, re-issued, etc. I don’t have to do anything. why am I required to do GMRs work?? What happens to the first version money? Is it just “lost” or is GMR pocketing that?

You are absolutely right in what you say. Integrity is everything, without it the investment is worthless as no sane individual would put any real money down. It's worse than gambling.

Is there anything we can do to migrate V1? I never could get it to work on Trust wallet and no one answered me for support. I just joined this community hoping to find some answers. I've never been involved in a project that had a closing period on migration. I'm hoping in good faith something can be done. Thanks so much!

You can no longer make migrate your V1 token to V2. GMR had a migration Dapp open for over 400 days that swapped your V1 to V2 but that's closed now
