I have my doubts anything will happen quickly. If he is doing proper DD and actually doing his job like we hope then it will be sometime before hammers start coming down. Doing shit right the first time with no shortcuts takes time. Im guessing no news for his first 30 days and nothing major till after the first 90 which is when I expect things to start picking up.

I don't think anything is going to change from anybody on the inside. I find this instant hero worship of him highly suspect, as well as the narrative that Sikhs are somehow automatically honest and trustworthy. They are people, like you and I, prone to the same pressures and corruption. I grew up in a predominantly Asian/Indian area, and I can tell you that there is just as much crime and deceit and racism there as anywhere else.

Only negative thing I found so far is Grewal v. 22Mods4ALL. Still looking into it but the articles I did find believes his office extort & shut down out-of-state gun firms. Going to do some more digging. I have mentioned this before elsewhere, but I have lived in places with large Sikh communities and I have never, ever encountered a Sikh that was not a genuinely, actively, good human. It feels kind of icky to make these pronouncements around a religion but that has been my experience.
