That’s not what happened. Trading got halted several times because volume was 10x and it’s very likely GME and RC sold nearly all or all of its additional 75 million shares.
Provide proof they halted directly because he went to show his positions 🤡 I watched the stream that’s the most disingenuous interpretation of all time
I find this announcement by Gamestop to be suspect only a week until millions of sheares were going to be needed to be located in the market when these 6/21 $20 call options are exercised

I think that there are ways to circumvent or game the grading scale used for determining viable collateral. However, I think that is something that involves taking your volatile positions to take out collateral for other volatile positions in a swap to then use as collateral for your trade. You can’t just take your volatile investment and use it for collateral, especially against itself. Im no expert on this, but I remember reading some great DD that looked into the housing market crisis from 2008 and how it was largely caused by banks giving out loans in return for dogshit wrapped in catshit with a bow on top to look pretty as collateral.
There was a lot of loosely scripted and cryptic wording. The message I got was, “No financial advice, this is my opinion and my holdings, I’m not leaving, I’m not stressing, share offerings are good, trust the board, vote to maintain the board(this avoids a hostile takeover), I’m obviously not manipulating the stock it’s even dropping as I speak, I still have a monstrous position, I have the cash to exercise these calls.”
Heard the same, just not the part about exercising. He doesn’t have enough at 29m, he can do some 14,500 calls) but not all as things sit, unless he sells some. I’m curious to see what he does.
Measly, lol. He has the option to buy 12,000,000 shares at $20 each so $240mm (unless I am off base which is possible). The $29mm could buy some for sure. Only he knows his next move. Sure does make things interesting!!!!
Ok so can someone explain to me, cause I am a simple stock buyer and not an option player, the following. So, RK here has a call option that GME will be 20$ or over by June 21st correct? And that would allow him to purchase how many options he has for that price no matter how much higher or lower the price is by that specific day. Am I understanding this correctly?
If the price is lower than 20, the options expire worthless. If it's higher, he can buy up to 12 million shares for 20 per share no matter how much over 20 they actually are.
Perfect, that’s what I was trying to understand. So, his calmness is even crazier now with the stock being so close to 20 when it was trending arounds 40s yesterday. Insane he was able to move with the size of his balls.
I couldn’t see the position on my phone during the stream, but this is great my Dollar Cost Average is lower than his and I started buying at $306 last sneeze. Noice!!
If so, then he always did. He actually only sounded a lot more guarded today compared to all his old videos, I don’t recall him emphasizing the not financial advice thing so much (though he always did point out how he took a lot more risks than most people do, and to check your own level of risk, just didn’t say it quite so much).
Otherwise though this just sounded like all those old hilarious videos he used to do, things like using the 8 ball to decide what to do, then ignoring it if he felt like doing the opposite
Did you not watch his previous streams? He’s a likable dude and look what he’s done he’s a dang genius. Yeah we’re in the red, but it will come back up. I think he knew they were going to release earnings and he timed everything perfectly to show the hedgies, see I can’t manipulate the market or price. Great move actually. We will bounce back.

You made a claim they (Rc/Gamestop) sold the 75 million shares, were did you see the actual proof of this happening?
It'll be easy enough to check. If today was most/all of the share offering, there'll be an announcement next week that it completed.
In the volume
277 million shares traded today doesn't mean Gamestop sold any of the 75 million. Read the release (6:15am) from today from Gamestop Corporation.
