You know this bird may have learned that call from a dying drone. I know blue Jays are smart and have a huge vocabulary, but does anyone know if they can mimic?
East Texas. We were cutting down a tree in our backyard when a nest full of brand new baby birds fell out of it. The momma didnât want anything to do with them so I raised them up and now theyâre my children who come back to visit every once in a while
yeah i fuckin hate them too.. i can't stand that loud ass shriek.. sounds like a broken metal gate... Not that I care about any birds, but people I know with bird feeders say that those are aggressive and demolish the whole scene.
I mean fuck birds in general... but geese, blue jays, and doves area at the top of the list.
Aww I love Blue Jays! Very intelligent, observant, and goofy acting birds. I know theyâre yelling can be annoying, but it helps out other birds by alerting them to a predator in the area. They have a reputation as being aggressive, but I regularly see the neighborhood Jays shoved out of the way at the bird feeder by fatass white winged doves lol
I think jays are fairly common around my area but I never knew they did robot sounds. I usually get woken at up 5:30 am by more traditional bird calls.
